It’s a nice looking facility and meets the “nice” factor but I’m just not sure how equipped they are to deal with more complex rehab cases. My dad was suffering from Parkinson’s and dementia and I think being here only made it worse because they weren’t giving his medication on schedule. Multiple nights he was experiencing delirium and eventually they just discharged him to the hospital and then said he couldn’t come back after his hospital stay. And I get it, I do, but I never spoke with an activities director, with a medical team, or even with his therapists. It all seemed very “yeah this guy is a Medicare rehab patient” and that was that Again, nice facility but I’m just not sure they care much about their non-revenue generating assisted living patients

My first impression was that the facility was very clean and looked very nice. The people were very nice and I thought it was going to be a good experience. My dad went there for rehab to recover from stomach surgery and he was on overnight TPN. Within 2 weeks he lost 10 pounds and his surgeon pulled him out and back into the hospital. My dad would lay there all day and just vomit. When they would give him his meds he would immediately vomit them up and the staff would just walk away. So he was getting NO medications. No antibiotics, no heart medication, none of it. Every time we’d get him up in his wheelchair to go for a walk, I would have to ask someone to change his bed because it was dirty every single time. Once he got back in the hospital he tested positive for MRSA and was in the worst condition he’s ever been in. The staff also removed a lamp from his room that I had bought for him because it had a remote and when I asked about it everyone acted like I was crazy. I would never recommend this place to single person whether I liked them or not. They will let your loved one wither away. Very sad.

My uncle was transferred on a Saturday from Riverside. There was nobody to greet transport, they found the kitchen staff. And he never received any prescription medication for 48 hours because they hadn't set it up Friday when the hospital called and no pharmacy available over the weekend. And finally he was never put on the meal list so for 48 hours he got cold, left over food. This is a complete failure on Violet Springs. Please get your house in order. The cost of this place means people should expect a minimum of services. Never allow your family or friends to go here on a weekend.

My 83 yr old mother and I were stuck in TN with my ENTIRE family. Katie B, helped facilitate every step of the way of getting out of the hospital and into Violet’s rehab. We were stuck for days in the hospital with no end in sight. She got authorizations and worked directly with me even more than the hospital case manager. She has saved our mental health and we look forward to Violet helping my mother after emergency surgery. You pray for people like this when you have no one else helping!

I just came home from a six week stay at Violet Springs Health Campus. After spending three weeks in the hospital being treated for an infection, I need rehabilitation and physical therapy. I really never expected to function normally again. The Nurses and aides took such wonderful care of me, monitoring my medications and daily routine. They were all caring and kind (especially Rachel). My aide, Effie encouraged and helped me realize that I could get better and be "normal" again. She was great. Those Therapy Girls (Chris and Abby) were the highlight of my stay. They certainly knew what they were doing and had me up and moving every day. Always making me do what I had to do and making it fun. I would reccomend this facility to everyone who needs care.
