KADIMA REHABILITATION & NURSING AT POTTSTOWN

First of all My mom came into this facility not able to walk. My mom is very shy person not an easy person to work with after her surgeries! She had so much happen in the past 9 months its unreal. All the nurses at kadima were kind, understanding, helpful even celebrated her birthday, they made her feel welcomed there! My mom left kadima able to walk without a walker, and not shy to interact with people. Mom said everyone at kadima became family to her! She talks about all her friends that she made there! I want to say thank you for taking care of my mom! 5* for sure!

I’ve been here a few times for rehab and infusion treatments. The management keeps changing, but I have had good experiences anyway. It’s changed hands so many times, now, though, that I’ll be looking around before checking in, again. Too bad. It’s a small facility in deep woods. Pretty even though it’s dated. Lots of deer sightings in natural setting. I liked it, but fear it has turned into a cash cow for some operative. Most of the staff always has been very good, but staff changes a lot, too. Check it out carefully. It could be very good. I think it has been much better than the 2.whatever rating it shows, today. My mother-in-law has been there most recently. That was mid-pandemic. She didn’t get the attention she expected, from having been there before, but the pandemic changed a lot of things for all of us, so, as of the tail-end of 2022, I’d give the place the benefit of the doubt.

I give it a five star rating...though its really a FOUR because nowhere is five star. Consider that it pyssically hurts me to type, yet i show my appreciation this way. I feel supported by all categories of staff. From the front door to the kitchen, I'm on a first names basis with all staff. Management from all departments is stellar. I will not forget the nurses and therapists, as they are the backbone of Kadima at Pottstown.

My family was very,very disappointed in almost everything about this facility once my sister was in there. She contracted covid, while the facility was in quarantine .She later died at the hospital. I would not reccomend anyone to send their loved one here. The care ,food and safety are all very poor here. My sister was afraid of repercussions if we complained about how she was being treated. She had even fallen a few times, that they knew about and never reported until they were asked by us about it. We were in the process of moving her when she came down with covid and was hospitalized. I saw staff coming in for their shifts and entering the building without masks on during the surge in covid cases.Please reconsider placing your loved one in this horrible place.
