This nursing home is best suited for relatively independent residents who can communicate effectively and advocate for themselves, but may not be ideal for bedridden patients due to its large size and potential difficulty in providing individualized care. 👍🏼👎🏼 Most of the staff are very caring, helpful, and hardworking. 👍🏼👎🏼 The facility is understaffed for the number of residents they have, so they should consider hiring more staff. 👎🏼 The nursing home has many single rooms. The single and double rooms are very spacious. 👍🏼 Management needs to step in and ensure that patients' diapers are checked more frequently. 👎🏼 The physical therapy room has a very pleasant and cool atmosphere. 👍🏼 The nursing home activities are very good and fun. 👍🏼 The food is average. They don't follow the instructions on the tray slip. 👍🏼👎🏼 The dementia unit is in a state of disrepair and requires significant updates. 👎🏼 They have a lovely outside area where they can sit in the summer. 👍🏼 The nurse's station never answers the phone when you're trying to get information about your loved ones. 👎🏼 The nursing home has a salon and a church. 👍🏼 A microwave should be easily accessible so families can heat up food for their loved ones. 👎🏼 The nursing home is conveniently located behind a hospital, allowing residents to be easily transported to the emergency room if needed. 👍🏼 The nursing home maintains a high level of cleanliness, despite the occasional presence of unpleasant odors. 👍🏼 To ensure your loved ones in nursing homes receive proper care, visit them regularly and advocate for them when they are unable to do so themselves.

The Admission Director - Alicia -did a great job. Very knowledgeable, professional, collaborative and sweet person! It's a great experience I'm having transferring my mother to this nice nursing home.

Alicia , the Admission director was super helpful with getting my mother in law into Elmhurst memory care until. Excellent communication and follow through. It was a very difficult decision for our family to make but I’m surprised to say my mother in law appears to have adapted very well in just the week she has been there!

I have met a lot of nice people while I am staying here. Kristina the nurse on 4th floor is wonderful she always does her best to get you what you want and need she is a very special person

My brother recently became a patient at Elmhurst rehabilitation, the care he receives is well above my expectations. My sincere thanks to all the staff,God Bless all for your dedication.
