I am writing this review to share my concerns about the care my mother, received during her recent three day stay at this facility. My mother was admitted on 3/7/25. During my visit Sunday 3/9/25, I witnessed some troubling events that really raised questions about the level of attention and care provided. My mother had to wait an entire hour for assistance after notifying the nursing staff that she had soiled herself and needed to be changed. Despite ringing for help three times, it took an hour for anyone to respond, and when they finally did, they informed me that two staff members were needed to change her. Unfortunately, this resulted in her sitting in urine and feces for two hours. Things only got worse when my mother's dinner was sent to the wrong room. They just sent it back to the kitchen and no one seemed to realize that she hadn't received her meal or that she still needed changed. After several attempts to call for help, I finally went into the hallway to speak with a Nurse, who was shocked by the situation and quickly stepped in to help alongside another staff member. When they finally brought her dinner, it was a turkey sandwich instead of the Alfredo meal she was supposed to receive. Although the head nurse mentioned that dinner had already been cleared up, I voiced my concern that this mistake was their responsibility and needed to be corrected. Sadly, the only alternative offered was hot soup, which is not suitable due to my mother’s recent recovery from thrush. These incidents raise serious concerns about the neglect my mother faced during her 3-night stay. According to the Oregon Administrative Rules for Nursing Facilities, residents should receive care tailored to their individual needs, which clearly was not the case here. This experience makes me question the adequacy of their staffing levels as well. I hope these issues are addressed promptly, as I worry about the quality of care my mother will receive moving forward. I encourage the management to take immediate action to rectify these violations to ensure better care for all residents.

A dear friend of my mother was placed in Regency Rehabilitation she was admitted on a Thursday afternoon and she did get some type of therapy evaluation on Thursday afternoon but then she did not get any more therapy over the weekend. She was placed in a room with another women which is fine but the room was made for on person. My mother's friends bed was pushed against the wall with no TV. There was not a bathroom in the room either. When she arrived in the facility they put a catheter on her even though she was not incontinent and they never got her out of bed to sit in a chair. Due to lack of movement she developed pneumonia and a pulmonary embolism and had to transported back to the hospital after only being there 3 days. . If you decide to place your family member there make sure you check on them frequently.

Reached out to Regency Redmond multiple times to warn them a current employee manipulated then extorted my elderly mother for her property and was completely ignored. Well here is the actual text she sent my mother along with the package she overnighted to her in Texas, when my mother refused to sign it over to her by Aug 28th, Aug 29th she used false allegations of domestic violence to steal it by using a shield for the abused as a sword to financially exploit my 77 yr old mother out of her property. Hopefully someone will see this and take it serious before it happens to someone there.

This is where my Husband Joe went when he needed more help then i could give him at home. Joe was a Veteran and Regency not only takes care of our vets that served but also others that need help. I was at Regency almost everyday my husband was there and saw the wonderful care and love all the employees(Doctors,Nurses, CNAs, every employee involved in Joes care) gave him. He felt like it was a home away from home and meet other people who needed help. And almost knew everyones name. My husband has passed❤ since then. (About 2 months now) Just wanted to say Thank you Regency of Redmond OR for being there and helping both my husband and I at our time of need. You are the best! Blessings! Karlene (Joes wife)
