The staff is incredibly caring. They make sure to include my dad in activities and even sit outside when the weather is good. My dad has been there many years and I find comfort knowing that he is in good hands!
Words cannot explain how horrible this place is. State complaint filed. My mother had a near-death experience due to lack of proper care of a catheter causing her an additional 8-day extended stay back at a hospital including a day and a half in ICU.
My father was at St. Francis for 7 weeks and his medical care was terribly mismanaged. After a hospital stay, St. Francis was supposed to resume his diuretics, which they didn't. As a result his edema went out of control and he ended up back in the hospital just hours after he was discharged. When my mother and aunt went to pick him up, they had to ask for help to get him into the car. The staff did not notice that his body was so swollen he could barely get into the car.
Also, my father received nebulizer treatments at St. Francis, which the physician at the hospital explained were unnecessary and can in fact be harmful.
The rooms are very small and there are no telephones in them so it is very difficult to communicate with a patient there.
Staff don't help patients when they are sick, they just tell patients they are fine! If you love your family don't bring them here
I came here myselfcuz I wanted something smaller and then I found out that the people that work here are so compassionate and caring, excellent professionals, with a sense of getting.You better for the next venture of life.For me I give this place a 5 🌟 rating all day 😀 long.
