After several hospital visits, my father needed a place to recover and receive skilled care before coming home. My family has been so grateful to have my father cared for by the team here. I was lucky to work with Ray from admissions to organize my father's stay. The admissions team made our transition here stress-free during a difficult time. My father is very pleased with the care from the nurses and therapy team. The staff communicates with our family daily to update us on his progress. The facility is organized, exceptionally clean, and very well-maintained. Knowing my father is in a safe and supportive environment has given my family great peace of mind. This is a wonderful care facility.

We were initially offered a few nursing home options when my father was discharged from the hospital after surgery for rehab. We chose the one closest to our home—Villa Rancho Bernardo—and it turned out to be a great choice from admission to discharge. The staff were friendly and attentive, and my family felt comfortable leaving my father in their care. My father mentioned that he had good rehab sessions with both occupational and physical therapy. He also really enjoyed eating in the dining room or on the patio, which helped him avoid feeling confined to his shared room. Convenient parking near the entrance was another plus. Date of admission is today 08/31-2025. The staff are very nice and very friendly very accommodating and the patient and family feels welcome . The room is clean roomy with right ventilation . The staff knows what they are doing . They assist patient with his needs . They changed the beddings for the second time without complaint. The facility itself is so clean no bad smell or pee smell whatsoever. Very helpful for family members to know that their loved ones are in good hands
