If I can, I’d give this facility a Zero. Got yelled at by the nurse for asking them to check my suegras blood pressure. After them calling us to come and see what’s wrong with her, when that should be their job. We were being ignored and no one was helping us. My mother in laws nurse kept walking around talking on the phone instead of helping us out. We had to take her to the ER ourselves. They were letting her go through her episodes for 2 days now without doing anything about it. They didn’t know she was diabetic nor knew she needed help with speech therapy because she had a stroke. When a facility like that is meant to help patients. So are they just not doing their jobs ?? Did not want to give us any of the higher ups information only giving us excuses that they are not allowed too when I know that’s false. We’ve already had an incident happen the first few days she got there involving abuse which of course they brushed off and made it seem like she was hallucinating when she’s never had that symptom before. This facility is trash. They Tried to discharge her because we ask if they can check her blood pressure. This is not okay. We’re supposed to trust them with our loved ones and instead they take advantage. Do not recommend this facility to anyone.

Our family is extremely grateful for the care and treatment given to our brother. They treated him as a person worthy of rehabilitation when other facilities dehumanized him due to his condition. Alcoholism is a horrific disease that devastates families as they feel helpless watching their loved one deteriorate. Our family was able to make positive relationships with the staff. They showed sincere concern for his well-being. He thrived in this facility and regained his strength from being completely bed-ridden to walking the halls. They also supervise the patients to ensure they are safe within the confines of the facility. We appreciated the staff’s attention to maintaining a meticulously clean environment. The atmosphere is open and airy, full of light and you are greeted by welcoming staff at the front desk. Thank you NVPA for giving our family peace of mind and supporting our efforts to get our brother ambulatory and ready for rehab.

I would give this dump negative stars if that were an option. It have a family member there and he is extremely neglected. He has high medical needs and is immobile. His condition has gotten worse and he is losing use of his one arm that worked because they refused to give him PT after he had a stroke. He can not even feed himself. They have denied him referrals to specialists and only allows him to see their staff doctor., which means an also negligent. He has been reduced to using a diaper because the of the lack of medical care and is left wet for hours at a time. He has gone weeks without a shower, I have to call and ask for them to bathe him. He couldn’t even get ice water during the heat wave. I live too far away to be there everyday. I had to call law enforcement to do a safety check on him because of the lack of response from staff. The other residents just sit in wheelchairs in the hallways. I won’t even get started on the food they serve. My dog wouldn’t even eat what they serve. A soggy bologna sandwich is not dinner. An attorney will be contacted if something doesn’t change.
