This is an update to my first review. After that initial review, I was asked to contact the office directly. I had a phone conference with the facility Director and two other managers yesterday, and I attended a scheduled Care Plan meeting today. Overall, I am impressed with the level of care Mom is getting from OT, PT, Nutrition, Speech, and Activities. Nursing is responsive when asked, which is a plus. They were off to a slow start. Mom arrived on a Sunday. It wasn’t until the following Wednesday that she had a shower. Basically, 10 days. I'm still not used to the idea that showers are scheduled weekly, but now, if Mom wants a shower more often, they will accommodate the request. My best recommendation to those whose loved ones are in a skilled nursing facility is to have someone visit every day, and take turns going at different times. Be VERY proactive. Advocate with kindness and be direct and accurate. I also highly recommend taking an interest in knowing who your "go-to' people are, and don't be shy. I think that because another family member toured the facility and was shown around, they assumed other family members would be in the know. I didn't have a clue where to go or who to see for specific needs, and I didn't take it upon myself to do so until a situation arose and patience was thin. There may also be a disconnect between what I consider necessary and what the nurses consider necessary. After all, she is MY mom and not theirs. Temper your expectations a bit. You'll be much happier with the outcome. There is no online portal to view records or charts, or to receive updates. You have to go in and be there. Even after doing this, records from yesterday's Dr. Appt. were misplaced and unavailable for today's Care Plan meeting, as well as for OT and PT. They were finally found at the end of the day. With my newly developed lowered expectations, I didn't get as upset as I usually would have over the misplacement of records. An independent senior care consultant recommended this facility. A family member toured two of them, and this was indeed the better of the two. I raised the rating by another star. I think it is essential to share that they do seem genuinely interested in Mom's care. And one head nurse cannot fill in the gaps for multiple CNAs. When we do share a concern, it has been taken care of quickly. As a result, I have added an additional star to my review.

I went to visit a friend in their rehab section. I was pleasantly surprised. Entrance was very nice. Everyone polite and helpful. My friend looked great. Well cared for. Says her therapy is great and going well. Place is clean. Smells good. Very nice ! Highly recommend this facility!

The facility is a very nice facility. Clean and spacious. Food was good. The PT staff Mike, Mindy, Martin, and Roseeda were amazing. They worked very hard to come up with solutions to help me be able to get in an out of my house at home and manage my own care. The nursing staff and aids were very friendly and kind. The only complaint that I have is probably the response time. But for the most part, they were very attentive And compassionate.

Staff is helpful and compassionate. Room was clean and patient well cared for. My friend arrived Friday so she will have PT and hopefully get stronger and back home. I feel the staff will support her 100%.

Visiting family members who are residents, 1 bed-bound and 1 in a wheelchair. They are very happy living there and our observations showed why. The rooms and halls are scrupulously clean, no odors, and the staff is unbelievably kind and patient with the residents. Seems like a nice place to stay when nursing care is needed.
