⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review I’ve had the pleasure of working at this nursing home, and I can truly say it’s one of the most loving and caring environments I’ve ever been a part of. The staff here work incredibly hard every single day to make sure our residents feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth. We treat every resident like family — with patience, respect, and kindness. The teamwork is amazing, the atmosphere is positive, and the quality of care is consistent and heartfelt. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be treated with compassion and dignity, this is absolutely the place. We go above and beyond, and it shows in everything we do.

What stood out the most was dedication of the staff. They are attentive and responsive , always taking the time to get to know each resident personally. I observed caregivers engaging with residents, participating in activity and making sure that everyone's needs were accommodated. The nurses are knowledgeable and professional, respectful in providing medical care while also offering emotional support.

The teamwork of the staff in the facility, and the friendliness of residents are one of many good things about this place. If you need any supplies or have to get to an appointment, Denise is the person to see. She stocks supplies on a daily basis, in a timely manner for staff to use. So we can perform our jobs efficiently and effectively. The family like atmosphere in the facility is a good feeling, makes it more home like.

With the Holiday season coming I wanted to help give back and wanted to help the elderly so they could still feel the spirit. I chose The Orchards of Southgate after some calling around asking questions at local facitilites. After speaking with Robin she took the time to talk to me about what the residents were interested in and based on needs there was no question I wanted to be a part of the amazing care thear residents get.

Our team here @ The Orchards of Southgate is more of a family atmosphere, including the residents. We may not have the biggest or newest facility, but we all go the extra mile to get the job done. One of many dedicated team member that stands out is our Maintenance/ bus driver, Ben is always in good spirits and goes the extra mile to make sure the facility is safe and functioning @ all time. Alone with environmental services, I appreciate all the team members that work daily to make this a home like environment.
