LOTUS VILLAGE CENTER FOR NURSING & REHABILITATION

The worst place I've ever been too! They will not help you,I hit my call button and it took 45 minutes for them to come and help me, it would have been Longer but I went and got someone to help me! They will not change your wound bandage like they should or administer your meds like they should!! This place is a joke!!!! And should be shut down! I've only been here 4 days and they forgot my dinner tray! 2 young girls came by and said, you didn' no supper well we brought you one and we don't even work here!! I ask for coffee and a young girl brought me some sugar and another girl came by And gave me some creamer I never got the coffee!!!!!!!

I went and toured this facility looking for a clean, warm, and welcoming environment for my grandmother. I was more than impressed, the facility doesn't have bad odor as most other facilities do. All staff were very friendly and welcoming and there is lots of life enrichment activities. I am pleasantly surprised and happy that my grandmother will be in the best care.

I’m only giving 2 stars because there are only a few RNs/CNAs that have actually been decent since my loved one has been a resident at this facility. My LO is paralyzed and unable to ambulate by themself. They were told yesterday “I’m not getting you up, it ain’t going to happen.” and my LO was left in bed all day and night. Today, my LO was gotten up out of bed around 11am and at 8pm they are still in their wheelchair, in pain, soiled and begging to be put back in their bed. This isn’t the first incident. They’ve been hurt while being cleaned, they’ve been stolen from by a CNA, talked to in the most vile manner, left in bed for days at a time, left in their own filth for hours upon hours… I’ve reported to every Admin, DON and staff member I can reach at Lotus Village. This has been happening for months!! It’s hard enough to get someone to answer the phone, much less a return call. There’s never any consequences for the neglect, never any type of resolution. My LO is constantly being neglected, verbally abused and is the very last on the list of priorities for the CNAs. I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone! (My LO doesn’t want to relocate due to fear of being in an even worse situation.)

Have heard you all have a good friend of mine up there. Thank you for taking good care of her. Her only complaint is the food but most nursing homes are like that. Especially with the budget.

The social worker is amazing! She took the time to provide a tour of the entire building and provided introductions to the staff. The court yard was so pretty, a great place to hang out and sun bath! The memory care was calm and the staff was really nice. I was happy to learn they all had worked there a long time. It was clean smelling and well lit.
