If I could, I would give Zero stars! My father was bamboozled into going there. They told him and my mom that they were the only ones who could do his treatments. come to find out, he wasn't getting that treatment at Sunshine. They treated my father poorly to say the least! He didn't get a single meal that we ordered and therefore couldn't eat any of the food. I was there every day from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. They did not give him all of his meds either. I did call and spoke to the caseworker, but she has not gotten back to us with any follow up. The nurses talk down to the clients and treat them like children. They're old, and most of them have memory issues. and that should be kept in mind when you are treating patients. My father has Medicare and a private insurance. They just wanted to keep him there for the money! I'm still waiting for a call.......

I can't say enough about the wonderful care I received at Sunshine. From the outstanding nurses and aids to the incredible physical and occupational therapy department who worked diligently to get me ready to return to my home. I wish I could name each person who assisted me on my journey, but I probably would miss a few, so be it known you were all fantastic. Than you all again.

The ownership at Sunshine takes excellent care of their employees and in turn they are amazing with their residents. It's a win win environment! Thank you Sunshine!

I would give zero stars if possible. My beloved Grandma passed away at this facility. If you can help it please reconsider taking your family member here. Under the care of this facility my Grandma was deteriorating day by day. We were going to pull her from this place and were unfortunately too late and she had passed in the night. It was the worst experience of my life. We expressed concerns as staff were incredibly rude we witnessed them getting rough with a patient in another room and called them out. They overmedicate and are extremely rude. I don't want to divulge to much personal information regarding my family's experience but feel I would be doing the public and other caring families out there a disservice if I didn't share my review of this awful place. Owners should think about giving their staff body cams as I am sure they would then see the horror and be able to hold staff accountable.

My Dad was treated like an object and not a person while at Sunshine Health & Rehab. My Brother went in to visit him one night and all the call lights in both hallways were lite, and no one was around to help him or the other patients that were in need of assistance. Upon entering the room where my Dad was staying, my Brother took pictures of the horrific situation he encountered. My Brother still refuses to show me the pictures, as "no one should see a loved one like that" is what he told me. From Sunshine Health & Rehab's establishment, my Dad was sent to the hospital where he died. No one from the Sunshine Health ever explained what happened or why Dad looked the way he did when he arrived to the hospital. As if having a loved one dying wasn't enough, Sunshine Health and Rehab made sure to let us know that we needed to come and get my Dad's things. It hadn't even been 24 hours upon admittance to the hospital. The family decided not to sue for negligence as we didn't want to subject Mom to more hardships over the loss of my Dad. If I had my way, we would have sued. If you want your loved one treated like an object then this is the place for you. They won't even offer their condolences for the loss of your loved one.
