1 stars is being kind, because everywhere has issues right?! This USED to be a great home with wonderful workers. Unfortunately this place has been going down hill since the beginning of the year. Most the staff is family or friends so they try to hide things or sweep them under the rug. They have underage and unlicensed staff working there. They're very neglectful of resident care in many aspects, specifically the last 4 months. Resident will go weeks without showers and they will blame it on the resident, even though it's because they're not staffed. All nursing homes are mandated to be trained in behavioral crisis intervention and they are NOT. They talk to residents and family rudely and with a tone of voice and then act like they didnt when called out. They lie to family members about patient care and medication administraton. The administrator christine does not return phone calls unless state is threatened. I used to recommend this home all the time and sadly I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy now. If your family is there, All I can say is visit daily and pay attention. Also turn them into state if you find an issue that seems neglectful. Nothing is going to change if you don't. Admin doesn't do anything. They honestly should be shut down. Also a lot of the reviews that are 5 stars are from the admin team and staff trying to up their rating. Even more sad to see that they are also deceiving the public.

My father recently stayed here for rehab. We had never dealt with this situation before and I was not sure what to expect. Upon arrival I met with 3 different staff members that were part of my father’s care team. They listened to me, explained their plan for my father and offered suggestions to make his transition to this location more positive. Thankfully my father’s stay was short term. Every comment he made about this place and the staff was positive. He loved the interaction with all the staff. I cannot thank everyone of them enough for helping all of us through this stressful time. EVERY staff person I dealt with was incredibly patience and understanding. They are all awesome.

It's been almost 2 years ago our Mom moved to the Meramec Nursing Center. It was the best decision we could of made! The COVID situation has been extremely difficult for all this year. The staff at Meramec Nursing Center has gone above and beyond to make us feel confident and at peace knowing Mom is receiving the best of care. We appreciate the excellent communication. The staff is proactive and always willing to share information. Mom loves the activities including frequent zoom sessions. The cheerful and engaging staff has really enhanced her quality of life. RUDE BEYOND BELIEF! The receptionist Jamie will change her voice and lie about who she is on the phone. Jodie the “administrator” will lie about patient and family behavior with absolutely no documentation to support it to keep from re admitting a patient. 10/10 do not recommend. Also DO NOT BE AN INVOLVED family member! They don’t like it when pts have family members are “to involved”
