Heartwood is totally fresh smelling, not at all institutional.  Staff are kind, accommodating, with great personalities. Staff includes Certified Wound Care nurses (that includes wound vacs), Physical and Occupational Therapy, and a robust activities program. I am here following  2 major surgeries and have received excellent care.  (Old RN.)

The entrance is a little difficult to find seeing as the building is set in the back and there are a couple entrances with driveway like entryways that are side by side to other buildings and homes surrounding the facility.  Beautiful building and wonderful faculty and a  spacious parking lot to accommodate thoae

The absolute worst place to put a loved one. As soon as possible I hope to bring my brother back closer to home, where he’ll be safer. In the meantime I’m ready to just start calling adult protection services and every other state agency I have to to get help! This place is so noncompliant in so may ways and my brother is a quadriplegic at there mercy.
