Do NOT send family here if you want excellent quality care. A family member died as a result of negligence. The facility Did not use Electronic Medical Records. If you dare consider this place, Ask about the tenure of the Director of Nursing? Ask who is in charge of nurses at night? Inquire on their staffing ratios and how emergencies are handled at night. This facilty did not contact 911 for my family member for more than 40 minutes after consent was given to transport to the Emergency Room. The evidence chain to support this statement is in my posession. including phone records among other things. Take a look around the entire facility, especially upstairs where long term residents are supposed to be cared for. Visit at various times and make observations, including weekends. Wishes to your loved one the best in recovery and healing.

Nurse Lashandra Robinson and Casandra at the admission were very professional, kind, compassionate, and caring. They were courteous and considerate about my loved one condition and accomodations for his needs, and assisting my family. Also, Toni at the reception desk is amazing. She was very helpful and kind. Thank you all again for the care provided to my loved one.

The plus about Elon Manor is the beautiful historic building with a nice porch filled with beautiful rocking chairs. The quality of care is better with proactive family members' presence. I must shout out the professional staff members who made my mother's time there therapeutic and worthwhile. Lashandra Robinson went above and beyond assisting me with helping my mom get transportation to her surgical appointment. The follow-up calls were on point to ensure everything went smoothly. The dedication she exhibits in ensuring her clients' needs are met is impeccable. Shay Thomas, the director of nursing, followed up on every complaint and gave me feedback on the corrections. I appreciated all of her efforts in making sure my mom was comfortable. Ms. Regina Parsley, director of social services, was instrumental in making sure my mom's discharge was flawless. Ms. Regina worked countless hours making sure all the clients' social service needs were met. I can not say enough about the calls and follow-up care Ms. Regina meticulously did. More attention should be given to the insurance and finance department. Inquire monthly and document the Medicare/Medicaid days covered, so you're not scrambling to figure out the next phase of care (home vs. long-term care) for your family member.

We're scheduled for a Caregiver respite weekend in the upcoming weeks, so we dropped by for an impromptu visit that went well. The Historical two-story home and it's whimsical landscape captured our hearts. This huge rocking chair style home that is currently under renovation makes a bold statement. The staff members, especially Regina P. and residents were very personable and answered our questions and concerns. Residents are encouraged to participate in on-site activities as well as off-campus retreats such as going to a Ray's Baseball game. There are several large TV, music, and activity rooms. My only reason for not rating five stars is the outdated rooms and lack of full personal experience. An organization was there singing to everyone during our tour. I know my husband felt comfortable because he thought we were leaving and started saying bye when our daughter walked out to pull the car up to the front entrance. Blessing to you all in Jesus name 💜

My husband Donald Walton is at this facility and I would like to express how grateful I am for the care he receives from one of his nurses, Ms. LaShandra Robinson. Recently, I visited Tampa from Washington, DC where I currently reside and the kindness, compassion and caring that I witnessed Ms. Robinson display, to not only my husband but also to the other residents as well was amazing. Ms. Robinson is professional, kind, compassionate and she goes above and beyond her duties. She is a wonderful person to be apart of your staff.
