My mother-in-law is in the Rehab center and has been receiving beyond excellent help. She has been in other places but they pale in comparison. The therapy department are rock stars and are working on getting her walking again. Thank you Lindsay, Christina, Janice, Tami and Mala. Also thank you to the staff on the 2nd floor especially Jake, Colleen and Stacey! The place has been beautifully renovated and the care is amazing!

The Nursing staff at this facility was excellent. Personnel were very skilled and compassionate to all the residents/patients. I witnessed first hand the exceptional care, compassion, and professionalism that the staff showed to my girlfriend's mother. We will always be greatful for the care she received.

This place looks like a horror movie in the inside, dusty, old, dingy, and moldy. My mom’s bathroom floor and toilet are stained with mildew from them not properly cleaning it. She has also fallen a handful of times, and this last time she hit her head and needed staples in it. The employees here are negligent and mean to their residents and to their visitors. I wouldn’t send me worse enemy to this place. Stay away! Also I bought my mom a mini fridge for her room, and now they aren’t allowed to have them. Instead of calling me to notify me that it needed to be removed . So it was given to my nephew who had no right to take it as it was not his to keep its mine . Again, the employees and administration there are just absolutely incompetent and negligent.

The physical therapy my sister received? Dx: Phlebitis=Treatment plan: tossing a ball. Sent home with Phlebitis. As I read the responses from the facility regarding the many horrible instances, and I'm sure they are very true, I am disgusted with the blatant lies told to these families. I'm know for a fact that when State shows up everyone knows ahead of time and everything is smiles and sunshine. Trust me, I've worked in many nursing homes. It's disgusting what has happened to St. Joseph's. Not that St Joe's was this bad...but not the best either. State needs to show up sporadically and catch the true way things are run. I'm sure there are good people who work at any home, but it's just getting worse. Staff shortages have been going on since at least from my experience 1979. Sad sad sad. All rooms should have cameras. I'd rather loss of privacy than staff having free reign. Shame on those who treat these beautiful souls. Would they want this care for their family. Lord I hope not. I could go on and on and barely scratch the surface. Pay the workers well, hire enough staff, and you might get a better staff.
