LIFE CARE CENTER OF VALPARAISO

I was Life Care Center in October 2025 in the Rehab Unit getting therapy for back surgery. I cannot thank all the therapists (PT and OT) enough for the progress they gave me. Due to insurance reasons I could not continue my therapy there. I wish I could because they are incredible. As I continue my therapy journey with others, I will always be thankful for the Occupational and Physical Therapists at Life Care Center. All the staff throughout the facility were great folks. Keep up the good work, I will never forget all of you (don't want to single anyone out but the ones that were the greatest know who they are.)

My wife was in Life Care after a spine surgery, she was there for two weeks. The staff (especially Jamie who is the bomb) was so helpful. I cannot thank them enough. The meals could be better. The therapists were also great. Thanks to all especially Jamie. Linda

Never again. Didn't provide the level of therapy, modified prescriptions, and didn't take my loved one to any of the activities. She's home now and getting back to her normal self. Medicare needs an inspection and lower their ratings. Also, she was supposed to receive 3 days of medication, but only received 1, and she was sent home with someone else's insulin pen.

I had Rehab there for over 2 weeks after my Left Hip Replacement Surgery on 9-15-25& I arrived there on 9-18-25 around 4:30 PM& John is a Great Nurse along with Kathy& Melissa & Imogene & Amber the Aide is Stellar as Her& John should get Employee of the Year& Olivia is Great also& The Physical Therapy Katie Department Katie & Amy gave me the Physical Therapy that I needed to get Home Safety & I Thank You both for that as now on Friday I start Outpatient Physical Therapy so I can leave the Walker & head to Cane Next along with Home Exercises & then to Walking without assistance is the Finale as I am so Glad that I came to Life Care for the Rehab that I needed before returning Home on 10-7-25& The Great Care that they gave me& again Thank You so Much 😊 P. S. It was Great having a TV that I could Actually use Woo-Hoo &The Lunch& Dinner was Good but the Hamburgers was AWFUL along with the Breakfast... on a Final Note Social Worker Latasha is Stellar as she Listens to Your Concerns & works with You in regards to Going Home& etc& a Great Gal to have a Conversation with.

The rehab facility was squeaky clean. My mom was discharged from hospital and I got a call from them before discharge. Very impressed by this. The CNA was super nice, thorough and upbeat. I think her name was Amber.
