My experience with The Hermitage has been very positive. The staff is friendly, compassionate, and professional — they truly care about the residents. The level of care provided is excellent, and it’s clear that the team works hard to create a supportive and respectful environment. I would definitely recommend The Hermitage to anyone looking for quality care for a loved one.

My mother was admitted for short term care and she was there for only two days and she was sitting in her wet diaper for most of the day. She suffers from dementia and was left alone after I went there and told them that she thinks that she can get up and walk told them she can’t be left alone. Today I went in and she not only was sitting in her urine but her feces when I pressed the button the nurse came in like nothing she was sitting in it for over an hour. From there I discharged her and sent her to the hospital she was admitted again with neuro virus and uti. Please do not leave your love ones there and if you do check in on them daily. Nobody should be treated this way. They didn’t do any pt due to everyone there having virus on the floor that she admitted to, they should have never admitted her knowing that people were sick. They only wanted the money….

This place has an amazing staff right from the top to the bottom. And that's what makes a great nursing home! I can't thank everybody enough here for how they helped to get my brother through some really bad times. It was however time to move on to a place a little bit closer for me. Don't pay mind to some of the ratings the people here are amazing. They really are, they strive for perfection.

Look, every one - I just want to share a few things with you all; especially those of you who have recent loved ones "just" admitted to a rehabilitation facility and are "in pain 😢 for 3 hours." 1. The facility typically does not receive any medication from the transferring facility. 2. The receiving facility needs a doctor's order to be able to then send it to the pharmacy, which only happens AFTER and DURING the admission process to our facility. 3. Then, WE wait for the PHARMACY to deliver the medication to our facility. That is how that process goes, and that is only if there is no snaffoo with the insurance needing a prior authorization on a new medication, the RX is written correctly, it is signed, etc.. No one INTENTIONALLY leaves your loved ones without medication, nor do we like seeing anyone in pain, especially on the 11p-7a shift. Everything hurts more at night! Trust me!!! So, before we start bashing all of these facilities, please consider the above and this: a. You don't know how long ago things happened BEFORE you got there. b. Housekeeping is NOT 24/7. It cannot be because it would disturb the residents' peace!!! c. Incidents ARE going to happen, it's a Rehabilitative Facility/Long Term Care.. that is why residents are admitted to the Short-term Subacute Unit. CNAs are constantly working short yet are providing the BEST possible care for your loved ones.

I urge you to not use this place. Read the Google reviews. Read the Medicare reviews. Read the Department of Health reviews. Read the news articles referencing this place, especially August 2020. Check under current AND prior business names. Are you being pressured to use this place, WHY? Visit this place BEFORE deciding to use it. My experiences with this place mirror the other negative reviews. If you choose to use this place watch them like a hawk.
