I am here at the facility for rehab care. I have received exceptional care from everyone from nurses to dietary and therapy. But I must admit the Stna Maria is amazing. She always goes above and beyond to make sure all my needs are met. She even comes to my room before I hit my call, light for assistance and always has a welcoming smile. The facility is very lucky to have such a great employee.

I can’t say enough good things about Austintown Rehab Center. After my stroke, I was scared and unsure of what recovery would look like—but from the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel supported, safe, and encouraged every step of the way. The physical and occupational therapy teams were outstanding—patient, knowledgeable, and always pushing me in the right way. The nurses and aides treated me with such kindness and respect, and the entire environment felt more like a community than a facility. Thanks to their care and expertise, I’m making progress I never thought possible. I’m so grateful to everyone at Austintown for helping me reclaim my strength and confidence.

Austintown Rehab Center has been a true blessing for my wife and our family. After her stroke, we were overwhelmed and unsure of what the road ahead would look like. From the very first day, the entire team at Austintown showed us not only professionalism but genuine compassion. The therapists worked with her daily and celebrated every milestone, no matter how small. The nursing staff kept her comfortable and cared for like she was their own family. I visited every day and was always met with kindness, updates, and encouragement. Thanks to their dedication and support, my wife has made amazing progress. I’m forever grateful to Austintown for giving her a strong start on the road to recovery.

Patients are left laying in wet diapers for half the day. This is an everyday occurrence.They restrict patients' water so they won't pee. The food is horrible. This week the patients were served ravioli three times... That's what that horrid blob of goo is. I've been waiting for 20 days for a return call from the social worker and the ambassador/office manager who are never in their office..., they tell you to only leave ONE message on their machine. I caught the social worker in 3 lies outside of 2 minutes. Patient hasn't seen a doctor in a YEAR. I'll be reporting them to the state. Patient "accidents" are not reported to family. Nurses AIDS are neglectful, rude, nasty, and uncaring. Possessions continually go missing, especially phone chargers. Laundry system is a mess, clothing is not picked up regularly and there's no guarantee that it's returning either. Avoid this place unless you really hate your family! This place is worse than jail. Jail gives you more rights! AND MORE HUMANE TREATMENT

As a father, not being able to be by my daughter’s side after her stroke was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through. But knowing she was at Austintown Rehab Center gave me peace of mind during a time filled with worry. The staff kept our family updated and reassured us every step of the way. I could tell she was in good hands—not just receiving expert care, but being treated with real kindness and dignity. Even from a distance, I could hear in her voice that she was getting stronger, and that meant everything to me. I’m so thankful to Austintown for helping my daughter heal and for being there when I couldn’t.
