Brookdale Grand Prairie Independent Living

Two years ago, I moved to Brookdale Grand Prairie to become part of a “family community.“ I have been very greatly pleased with a community that exceeded my expectations and I am also pleased that staff is really part of that community. Everyone here really cares for others and no one encounters difficulties that go uncared for by other members of the community. Social interaction at meals and activities is delightful. The apartments are very well designed and comfortable. The dining room is spacious and very attractive, the food is wonderful, and the various meeting and activity rooms facilitate life here very well. I am so grateful that God guided me here. 😊

I just had to give a 5 star review about the fantastic service we received today. My business, Parsons Home Team has moved seniors for over 9 years to all of the senior living communities in the area and I can honestly say that Bill is by far the best maintenance director we have worked with. We arrived at 8:15 to start unpacking and Bill not only met me as I was walking in, he had already been in the cottage setting up the cable box for our clients. He also built up a ramp to the back door so that they could take their scooters back there to enjoy the sunshine. Each time he came in, he asked if there was anything we needed. Moving day for our clients is a big deal and even the smallest missed detail can be difficult. Bill made sure every detail was taken care of. I can’t say enough about how great he is. Outstanding experience!

My husband and I moved to Brookdale Grand Prairie almost a year ago and have been extremely happy living here. Although this will be the shortest time we have lived in one place everything has been perfect. We will be leaving at the end of March to be closer to my sisters in North Carolina which they have been trying to get me to do for years - now is the right time. The facilities here are clean and well kept and decorated with seasonal decor. We can't say enough about how well we've been treated by all the staff from the executive director all the way down to the maintenance men. It's a community that cares for each resident and has a family atmosphere. The dining room staff are exceptionally friendly and address all residents by their first name. We have enjoyed the "themed" dinners and all the extra parties that happen during the year. There are plenty of activities if you want to keep busy. We've made some really good friends with residents who live here and will miss them very much. We would definitely recommend Brookdale Grand Prairie when you get to the point of really retiring with no housework, no house maintenance, no yard work and no cooking. It has been a VERY pleasant experience

My mother has enjoyed living at Brookdale. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. They truly care about the well being of all their residents. When I visit, I have always felt very welcomed. Any concerns I’ve had are addressed immediately and efficiently. I appreciate the kitchen staff and their willingness to cater to the needs of each resident. Thank you for making Brookdale a loving, caring environment. You are appreciated!

I have been a resident at Brookdale Grand Prairie for nearly three years and am very happy here. I have a 2-bedroom cottage that is spacious and homey. I also have a laundry room with washer/dryer which is most convenient. I can't say enough positive things about the staff. They care for us like family and serve our needs beautifully. We have meals in the dining room and the food is excellent. We have an opportunity to provide input on the menu and are given many choices. The grounds are near a park and nature trail with views of wildlife. There are many activities planned for residents both within the facility and without. I've made many good friends here and consider this my home now and in the future.
