I am so thankful for Lighthouse, our community is so fortunate to have this special place. They take wonderful care of my father-in-law. We can join for a meal anytime, no tickets or reservations needed. The environment feels welcoming and comfortable, like a home. Everything is spotlessly clean and smelling nice. I can’t say enough good things really.

Its an absolute joy coming to lighthouse and seeing all the bright faces and calm environment. The staff go above and beyond for each and one of the residents, and do an outstanding job with helping them enjoy themselves. From singing all together to being outside in the sun, you can tell the staff enjoy being here and working with one another to make the elderly comfortable and happy. Keep up the good work ! Lighthouse Memory Care is a great home for your loved ones. I've never seen an adult home that is as involved with their residents than here. My daughter has volunteered at Lighthouse before, and this is where she fell in love with the idea of helping seniors. Clean and caring facility and workers!

Due to new staff, contacting my loved one has gotten much easier. My prior review is below. I CANNOT RECOMMEND this facility. Even prior to Quarantine due to Corona virus precautions, the staff was disorganized, they do not communicate consistently between management and staff, and between staff and staff, and between family and staff. If you want to contact your loved one daily, forget it. Some staff are very obstructive and consider your call to your loved one NOT a priority of theirs. As it is in any business, a few staff are sweet and kind. I cannot say this about the medication nurse or a male that answers the front desk phone. They are particularly unhelpful, obstructionist, and passive aggressive. Hanging up on callers, not returning messages, and not answering the phones to begin with. They have caller ID so they know who is calling and who they are hanging up on. They use their patient population with dementia as an excuse for their shortcomings. They will say: a patient took the phone, other families call, or they will indicate that they have so much to do because they care for patients with dementia, therefore calls are not their first concern! This is a 34 resident facility. As an R.N., B.S.N. that has been in charge of a 30 to 40 bed ward with residents with dementia and psychiatric disorders that are all on Contact and/or Respiratory isolation, I can tell you that this facility's staff are placing excuses and laziness above service and advocacy for their patients and their families. Who knows why? Burned out? Minimal staff? Either way, if you cannot show up at their door everyday, if you rely on phone contact with your loved one living there, you will be sorely disappointed. For the cost to residents to stay at this facility it should be easy to call your loved one. It is not. You can spend an entire 10 to 12 hour day trying to get through and trying to speak to your loved one. BEWARE!
