Oak Hill Assisted Living

As a former medical social worker turned private healthcare advocate, I was very impressed when I toured Oak Hill with the spouse of a potential patient. At the tour+interview, they demonstrated depth of knowledge about their facility, the population they serve, and operational efficiencies. My patient and the spouse were treated with grace and dignity at all times. I was always greeted at the door by friendly staff. The facility is clean, well maintained, and exceptionally well staffed. Oak Hill - thank you for taking such good care of the patient I sent to you.

From my experience, I can say that it's extremely difficult to find assisted living that can meet the personal expectations we all have when care is needed for a loved one. Nothing can replace home, but I believe Oak Hill is the next best thing! Oak Hill not only met my expectations, they EXCEEDED them! From the initial phone call to the tour of the facility, admission day, and each day forward, this place has gone above and beyond! My mother was well taken care of in every way possible. Rebecca (in admissions) was there for me and my family every time I needed her. The entire staff was phenomenal! Every concern that I ever had was promptly addressed (shout out to Alex)! Staff here has felt more like family than anything else. The facility is extremely clean and well maintained. My brother, a chef with over 20 years of experience in healthcare food services, stated that the food selection and quality doesn't get better than Oak Hill. I think that's saying a lot. If you are in need of assisted living, there is no need to look any further than Oak Hill.

The administration and staff were extremely comforting and caring. They built relationships with my dad while he was there. The facility is cleaned daily. The cost is reasonable. The level of care far exceeds the cost. 100% recommend Oak Hill.

So impressed with this community. The residents are taken care of so well and the staff members treat them like family. The residents have a lot of say in the activities they want, which has been great. They have a lot of things for the residents to do, like garden club, exercise classes, game nights, parties, etc. The courtyards and property are absolutely beautiful with plenty of space for residents to walk or spend time outdoors. Oak Hill is definitely a hidden gem for anyone looking for assisted living in the Triangle.

We toured many facilities but Dad chose this one . Studio and one bedroom we didn’t think the studios would be big enough, but since he’s never in it because there’s so much to do it is just fine!! You can Catch people gazing at Eclipse or Bingo… Loves the Restaurant style cafe With at least three choices of entrées every meal He’s been there five weeks and has friends already. With doctors on site the ability to choose whether or not nurses bring his medication or not…well is peace of mind! It was really hard for my dad to put his medication in the little pill bottles so it’s really important for this task to be done for him! He is so relieved he chose to have them bring to him . It is so nice as the walk-in shower there too He feels safe And the experience with on boarding was wonderful. The staff really helped our family get through the paperwork process . It was not easy Only one sibling lives near Dad so it is imperative That communication keeps up! Doctors on staff and attentive nurses . Reception too! Thanks you to the Oak Hill team and Illinois sis . So far so wonderful! Wish I could attend the BBQ Next month !
