Edencrest at Siena Hills

Severely understaffed. This facility is not an assisted living community rather a fully independent facility. Really thought this would be a good fit but was deceived by staff and nurses. Being that Hubbell owns and operates this facility gave me peace of mind with the understanding that Hubbell would not want a bad reputation. I was so wrong. Most staff for care do not understand the needs of our elderly community. When questioned, management stated that from where they come from their culture doesn’t understand the needs of their patients, yet, these patients built the communities that we allow their culture into. Employee turnover is very evident. If you’d like to place your loved ones here be ready for a huge disappointment. Thanks for failing Hubbell.

This place has a revolving door of personnel greatly confusing the people who stay here. Some personnel are caring and some are not. The evening staff can't be found at times, sometimes found in obscure placed on their cell phone. The food is not always good. Keep your people stocked with good healthy alternatives in their apartments. All care facilities are never as good as they cite.

Place is an absolute joke!! Quality of care sucks, no staff, agency making it a whole mess, nurse doesn’t care, messing up residents meds, call lights aren’t answered in the state approved time!

My sister is getting excellent care at Edencrest. Within two weeks of moving in she said “I feel right at home.” Diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in her late sixties, she had struggled with living on her own. Now she is thriving. She enjoys the many activities and outings that Edencrest provides. The facilities are beautiful with a wide welcoming hallway that greets you as you enter along with a large seating area, tv area, grand piano and other amenities. I was amazed by the layout which makes the dining and meeting rooms, library, and other gathering areas convenient and accessible. They offer exercise classes, physical therapy sessions, a hairstylist, an activity room for crafts, an inviting area for games and puzzles, and much more. There is always something going on for the residents including parties for special occasions and holidays. Her apartment is beautiful and the staff could not be more caring. My sister is happy and well cared for. My family and I could not be happier with the peace of mind that Edencrest has brought to my sister and to all of us. I highly recommend this place that is not a facility but a place to call home.
