Day Break Adult Day Health Care

Better than the one I used to go to. They're not OVERLY protected of those that can obviously do for themselves. I can pick something off the floor without them freaking out. Also, I'm not a very crafty person,, but they have some awesome project ideas if one is interested.... not silly ones, like what we did in grade school, but they have us making stuff that we can actually use or want to put up on our wall. I appreciate every last one of them. They make you feel loved ... They serve breakfast and lunch, which are pretty good. There's only a couple that I don't like, but the veggies and fruit is always good. Very appreciated. They have a gym where one can work out, but being evaluated by a therapist is required to see what you can and cannot do up in there. For instance, I can walk on their parallel bars, but I'm not allowed because I don't normally walk with a cane or a walker anywhere. But, I can do my swats and my leg lifts while holding the bar on the side. So, it's a safety issue, which is quite understandable. I can say that these folks really care about their participants. I enjoy going there when I'm there. Just don't talk during Bingo time. These folks are serious about their Bingo. There are great prizes if you win. Seriously. Praise God for each of the employees. They really are a blessing.

Alina - was extremely rude this morning. She was accusing me of saying things I did not say “to her staff” and had the audacity to speak to me in a condescending tone. I’m not sure if she said she’s a social worker but that was inappropriate especially as my grandmother is a client there. I’ve asked that a manager contact me asap yet have not received a call back. Alina is not pleasant and is unprofessional. If it weren’t for the clients- she would not be employees. I would not recommend this place.
