I trusted this facility with my uncle who is bipolar, borderline schizophrenic, congestive heart failure and kidney disease. He was there when it was Cherry Hills nursing center. When this changed hands, the care went downhill. My uncle's social worker, Ada helped him to move to AZ with my aunt who is an alcoholic and uses drugs. She has stolen from my uncle in the past and is considered a very bad influence. She was not even supposed to have contact with him. I have been my uncle's appointed POA for medical for at least 6 years now. I was not informed of this decision or when it was taking place. Hes been sick with a horrible cough and they discharged in this condition to travel. He lived with us prior to going to this facility and after almost burning our place down with a fire, it was decided he needed 24/7 care. He will try to cook and gets tired and will go lay down and forget he has stuff on the stove cooking. He was a harm to himself and others. I'm beyond upset and I would not recommend this place for any of your loved ones that you care about. They obviously don't consider what is in the best interest of their patients. This is a huge disservice theyve now done with my uncle. Yes, I'm definitely considering legal action. Especially if anything happens to him because of Hampden Hills negligence in this. I voiced my concerns numerous times over this past year.

The staff's dedication to providing life-changing services is evident from the moment you step foot in the facility. As a healthcare provider who frequently works with SNFs, I can confidently say that Hampden Hills has exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The team at Hampden Hills is a shining example of compassion and dedication. They genuinely care about their patients and go the extra mile to ensure their well-being and happiness. It's refreshing to see a facility where the staff is not just doing their job but rather making a positive impact on patients' lives. One of the standout experiences I had was when we needed an emergency respite placement for one of our patients. The Admissions team member, Drew, went above and beyond to assist us during this challenging time. His professionalism, kindness, and efficiency were exemplary, and it made a significant difference in our patient's life and the lives of their family members. I'm truly impressed with the level of communication at Hampden Hills. It's effortless to engage with the team members and advocate for the best interests of the patients. They listen attentively to concerns and work collaboratively to find the most suitable solutions for everyone involved. This facility was so heartless when I lost my nana. I went to see her in her room after she passed away and from the second I walked in the staff members beyond disrespectful. They were miss pronouncing her name and when corrected the staff member said “yeah right,” then when I was sitting in the room crying they had the audacity to send a social worker to come talk to me and continued to disrespect me. Stating I wasn’t allowed to mourn or touch any of her belongings. My nanas POA was completely aware of us being there. So the fact that we weren’t allowed to see her and say goodbye without staff watching over our shoulders was beyond frustrating.

Hampden Hills has been watching over my mother for the past 6 years now post stroke. Their care for her has been a life saver for our family. The low number of residents has allow my mother to receive 24 hr care. The staff has treated her with respect and great care.

Our 87 year old father was placed here for a grand total of 48 hours when he decided he hated it and wanted out! His room was not ready for him upon entering with a filthy carpet (not vacuumed and large spots hidden by the bed, no furniture except for a stripped double mattress sitting on top of a makeshift twin mattress- unstable, filthy walls needing paint and torn unusable window shades! The owner, JJ Dedmon, had told my sister earlier that charges could not be implemented for services not rendered! News flash...she received $8,300 from my dad and hasn’t and won’t return funds to him! We’ve contacted the Ombudsman to assist. It’s been a month now and still no funds!!! Beware of bait and switch with this owner. Very friendly up front...until she has your loved one’s money! Do your homework and avoid any homes owned by this unscrupulous person! She’s not doing this for senior care! It’s all about profit to her! Very sad for a two war veteran on a fixed income. This wiped out all if his and mom’s savings!!! Disgusting.
