Independence Village of Aurora

I visited this location today and the front desk lady was so focused on her gossiping conversation with the housekeeper she watched me stand in front of the desk for over 10 minutes never asked if i needed assistance or anything. I eventually walked away and found the residents room that i was looking for. I know people like to gossip but to ignore guest and gossip about your job with a housekeeper who is also on the clock supposed to be working is completely disrespectful behavior. She also eyed me down multiple times letting me know she knew i was waiting but refused to greet me or ask did i need help or anything

Independent Village Aurora Ohio is a great choice for our mother. She is cared for in a well-maintained facility. She has been there three years and enjoys her apartment. She has made friends and been involved in the activities. It is the right place, at the right time for her and definitely recommend.

A very well and professionally manged facility, very friendly staff,great food and wonderful atmosphere. Well maintained garden and pet friendly.

Resident Forum is held once a month with the department leaders, allowing the residents to speak their minds and share their thoughts! Chef Rich has been here for years leading the culinary excellence!

I always enjoy my experience at Independence Village. Everyone is so happy and cheerful and it always feels very welcoming. The staff is very accommodating and go above and beyond with any request I've had. The activities are great and there is so much to do! The food is top notch. I always enjoy coming to visit IV and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a community for their loved one.
