Atria Bay Shore

A lovely and welcoming community. Although I have my husband at another place, Atria was not close enough to my home. Dedicated and friendly staff.

This place is one of the worst places that i have seen, the staff are treated terribly and everyone is on there phones. As well as nobody cares for the Life Guidance Residents instead they ignore and give dirty looks when they are in need of help. There are worms in the coffee as well which shows how dirty this place really is. If you are looking for care i recommend somewhere else.

As an attorney handling elder neglect and abuse malpractice cases, I chose Atria after carefully reviewing their reviews and prior surveys. My mother was well cared for in the 6 plus years she was there. Despite advanced dementia we were able to avoid placement in a nursing home by placing her in the locked dementia wing once she required a higher level of care. Staffing levels are good with very little turnover because the staff is not overworked. If you are looking for an excellent assisted living facility that can handle all types of patients, you need to consider Atria.

My mother transitioned from a rehab facility to Atria for a 2 month stay before returning to her home. She did remarkably well thanks to the great staff at Atria. The place is clean, the staff is friendly and the outside grounds are well kept.

This place is great! First, the property is well maintained, inside and out. More importantly, the staff is amazing! They go out of their way to make residents feel as if they are at home, and with family. They provide a wide variety of activities to keep people engaged and busy. And, most of all, they are attentive to both the residents and their family's needs. The way they managed through the COVID crisis and beyond was astounding. Communication was great throughout. I recommend Atria Bay Shore to anyone considering assisted living.
