The Ashford of Beavercreek has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk through the doors. The staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely makes you feel at home. The residents are kind, caring, and have a wonderful sense of community—not only with each other but with the staff as well. There’s a comforting, homey feel throughout the building that truly sets it apart. It’s the next best thing to being at home, and you can tell it’s a place filled with love, respect, and connection.
It has been difficult to get the help we need for my parents in a timely fashion. We has asked for assistance with bring up meals. Help with keeping room clean. Help with my dad’s catheter bag changes, help with dad’s shower. The reaction to requests for help always met with a smile but not followed up. We gave them many opportunities to respond to no avail. Nurse call button response has lacked in timeliness. My mom received the wrong meds. My daughter has been over nearly everyday to check on them and I have been there when she is not. The food is unappetizing and falls far short of the advertised chef prepared meals. I am trying to be kind in my criticism as there has been occasional good response time. We continue to try to get them to do as we have requested on a weekly basis. Very disappointed.
Sara , the executive director kept me waiting for over 30 mins only to pop up and tell me we needed to reschedule . As a director myself as well as a responsible adult, I would absolutely never send a potential hire or resident away! Horrible customer service and horrible attitude! P.S the building is gorgeous!
Brand new facility, beautifully appointed and great team. We moved Mom in from Texas in February. So far she likes the food (a first!), is making friends, and the activity director has even persuaded Mom to join in various games. (Huge win) We were worried that being so new, they would not be fully staffed, so we expected lots of hiccups. If they are understaffed in any area we cannot tell! Sara, the Executive Director and her team are fantastic. We are so glad me made the move to the Ashford.
My mother has been at the Ashford for a month now. Her experience there in all respects has been excellent. Kind and caring staff (without exception, at least so far) and quick response times when she calls for an aide (this was a huge problem at her previous facility). Best of all, she has made some good friends. So far so good -- she's happy and so am I!
