Hearthstone at Murrayhill

Best assisted living facility in the state. Had to move both of my parents there this past October due to dementia and Alzheimer's. The staff and nurses are remarkable and are involved with the whole family. Great lobby and awesome dining hall with fabulous food and a great meal. High quality food. Lots of activities for the residents and buses that take them shopping. Even have a movie night every week. The place is high class and when you walk in it looks like a resort. It's a place that my parents feel safe and comfortable and can call it their new home. Very impressive compared to others my brothers and I took tours of before we made our decision. As luck has it both my parents worked there after they retired and some of the same staff is still there 20 years later. It's in a great location with plenty of parking. The whole staff welcomed my parents there the very first day which made the move not quite as stressful on them. Very greatful to have such a nice place as this in Beaverton. We are truly grateful for Hearthstone at Murrayhill Senior Living. Our mother moved into independent living 3 ½ years ago and remained there until her passing. We loved the dedicated staff that showed compassion and support to our mother. Whether it be the staff in the office, the servers in the dining room, the wonderful staff that clean their rooms, or the maintenance staff that helps the residents, they were all kind and caring. She joined the choir, enjoyed the writing club, and made so many friends. The facility is beautiful and the grounds are kept up so well. We couldn’t be more grateful for such a wonderful community. After 3 ½ years we have no complaints. Thank you!

Our parents were NOT happy when we insisted that they move to an assisted living facility, but they are happy at Hearthstone Murray Hill. They have been here since October 2023, and they are safer and more comfortable than they were in their old house. They have made so many new friends, and the staff is wonderful and very caring. Mom and Dad were able to bring their cat and quite a bit of their furniture and cherished heirlooms. There is "just enough" room for them to have everything they need and still have room for visitors. Plus the common areas are comfortable and beautifully decorated, so they can have multiple visitors at one time. We have had several large family gatherings here, and the staff go out of their way to make it easy for us. Hearthstone Murray Hill has areas for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and also Memory Care. It's nice to know that people can easily transition to the next level if it becomes necessary. I highly recommend Hearthstone Murray Hill.

Staff are caring and patient with the residents. Providing quality of care. And integrating with the residents, (encouraging them to be active in the community). And by providing daily activities from games, arts and crafts to exercise classes. And pleasant dining arrangements in either one of the two dining room’s. Providing a pretty good quality of food. Including vegetarian options. And an optional menu, (other than the weekly menu). And outings, such weekly shopping trips. And transportation for doctors appointments. Also there are several different apartment styles, ranging from Studio’s, 1 bed 1 bath, 2 bed 1 bath, and 2 bed 2 bath. With modern high ceilings. And care ranging from independent to assisted. And a special unit for memory care. “Where needs are met more one on one”.

My mom lived here for over 3 years prior to passing. She was very happy there and made good friends. The staff treated her very well. There's a wide variety of activities. She enjoyed the food. My only complaint was with the billing. I had several issues of incorrect charges during her time there. At one time it took me reaching out via email and phone 11 times to find out what a charge was for. I believe they have improved their billing system since then.
