Placing a loved one in memory care is never an easy decision, but Murray Highland Memory Care made the process feel much less overwhelming for our family. From the beginning, the staff were patient, kind, and truly took the time to listen to our concerns. What stood out most to us was how genuinely caring the team is. They don’t just provide care, they treat residents with respect and dignity, and that has meant everything to us. The community feels calm, clean, and well maintained, and it’s clear that safety and comfort are a top priority. We’re especially thankful for the communication. Anytime we’ve had questions, someone was always willing to explain things clearly and thoughtfully. Knowing our loved one is in a place where they are cared for with compassion gives us real peace of mind. We’re very grateful to the Murray Highland team and would recommend them to any family looking for memory care in the Beaverton area.

The Murray Highland community is truly a gem—boutique-style and beautifully designed, it feels so warm and welcoming that it instantly feels like home. The staff is absolutely incredible—caring, compassionate, empathetic, and deeply engaged. From the owner to the leadership team, care staff, activities team, office staff, dining service, and housekeeping, everyone here is a breath of fresh air. The level of care this team provides to residents, families, and even each other is unparalleled. Walking through their doors, you truly witness what compassion and person-centered care look like. Now, let’s talk about the food—delicious doesn’t even begin to describe it! And the activities? They’re thoughtfully designed and varied, keeping everyone engaged and active in meaningful ways. The Murray Highland team has truly set the bar high for standards in memory care. Oh, and the building? Spotless, wonderfully inviting, and filled with such a clean, fresh atmosphere. I’m so glad I had the chance to experience this beautiful, family-like community. It may be a care facility, but it feels like home. ❤️🌸

To say this team is great is an understatement! If there was a word for it I would use it!! Everyone on the team is very affable! The ambience is so welcoming! Brenda is the manager there and she communicates really well and so does Roddy who, if I’m not mistaken, the one that runs things behind the scenes! We have the privilege of working with them and they were just amazing. The residents there loves the team and they get along VERY WELL! The staff knows each resident very well and connects with them. It’s just a happy place to be. I want to live there! lol.

Worked with highland Murray memory care recently and the entire staff is great! They are all very friendly and kind! They really care and love their patients that they have in their care and will take the best care of any future residents! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a retirement home that specializes with patients that suffer from dementia

In the entryway are two chairs that are very soiled and stained, the only place you can sit. If this is the first impression you want to show people, that says everything about the attention to detail. There was staff and management coughing with residents and prospective clients without masks. Staff are expected to work 12-hour shifts, with limited staff. Staff frequently cannot get another person to cover, staff will come in sick!! Staff had to sign in on the minute and out on the minute. They could not sign in a minute early, they had to stand by the timeclock. This says a lot about the company focus, it is not on the client. It is money. The outrageous fee to just open an application, of $5000 NON-Refundable is outrageous! Their costs are high and the from what I saw the care does NOT match the cost.
