Urbana Place is an AMAZING community! We feel so blessed to have been able to move our mother here and she is so happy. Shelly Tennessen is incredible and moved mountains to speed up our moving process. She and the entire staff are caring, friendly and treat everyone with warmth and kindness. Our family was searching for an assisted living facility for my mom, who is in the middle stages of Alzheimer's Disease. After doing a ton of research, Urbana Place became one of our top choices. Last year, I reached out to Shelly, Director of Marketing, to schedule a tour. Shelly was very caring and friendly, and very informative. She took the time to listen to our story and shared valuable insights from her own experience, which provided comfort during this very difficult decision-making process. The facility itself went above our expectations. The apartment options were great, and the range of services they offered was exactly what we were looking for. After visiting other facilities and considering the timing and options for my mom's move, we ultimately returned to Urbana Place. When we decided it was time, they had the ideal apartment available, and Shelly made the transition seamless and stress-free. Throughout the entire process, Shelly was outstanding - responding promptly to every email and call and addressing all my questions with patience and care. She really went above and beyond. Since moving in, my mom has had a positive experience. The staff and residents have been very welcoming and supportive, helping her adjust and feel comfortable with this significant change. The variety of daily activities has been wonderful for my mom, who enjoys staying active and engaged with others. Overall, our experience with Urbana Place has been only positive. We are confident and hopeful that this will continue to be the best fit for my mom as she settles in and moves forward.

Urbana staff has been incredibly helpful and supportive as I made the difficult decision to move my mom from assisted living to memory care. This can be such a hard transition and decision to make for families. Urbana staff were there along the way to answer questions and support my mom and I as we considered and made the decision to make this move. Every part of the team and staff at Urbana helped to support and make this decision easier and the transition go smoothly. All the way from new executive director Amy in her first week helping to make things possible, to the kindness of Assistant nursing director Tayva and Nurse manager Maureen answering questions and making a plan to support my mom in thriving and happy, to the marketing director Shelly who has always been lovely in answering questions and helping residents to feel comfortable in their new place, to the cleaning staff and other nursing staff showing excitement in caring for my mom in her new apartment in memory care. The compassion and care is evident on every level. I am so thankful to have such a great place my mom can call home; and the peace of mind knowing she is well cared for. After previous facility closed assisted living services, we had to find a new place rather quickly. So grateful that we found Urbana Place! Management team made the relocation and admission process so easy, they are so wonderful. Residents and staff at Urbana are so friendly and always helpful. The building is so clean and well maintained. Medical/nursing team is very attentive and really listens to residents health concerns. The food is great, the culinary team is always willing to provide alternative options for meals, and food is tasty and served hot. So happy we chose Urbana, even recommended to two other people who have since moved to Urbana. Will continue to recommend to others!
