Atria El Camino Gardens
Atria El Camino Gardens
Atria El Camino Gardens is a licensed residential care elderly located in Carmichael, California. Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) provide non-medical care and supervision in a homelike setting for people 60 years and older who are unable to live independently.
Atria El Camino Gardens has a licensed capacity of 325 residents. Services include assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management. RCFEs also provide meals, housekeeping, laundry, social activities, and 24-hour supervision. Many offer specialized care for residents with memory impairment.
Who We Serve: RCFEs serve older adults who need assistance with daily activities but do not require 24-hour skilled nursing care. Residents may include those with early to mid-stage dementia, mobility limitations, or chronic health conditions.
Licensing: RCFEs in California are typically licensed by the Community Care Licensing Division of the California Department of Social Services under Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations.
Payment Options: In California, Medicaid may help pay for assisted living through the Assisted Living Waiver (ALW). Eligibility is based on both financial and functional criteria. Contact California Department of Health Care Services or visit https://www.dhcs.ca.gov/services/ltc/Pages/AssistedLivingWaiver.aspx to learn about eligibility requirements and how to apply. Wait lists are common for waiver programs, so applying early is recommended.
Families researching assisted living options should verify the facility's current license status, review any inspection reports, and schedule a visit to assess whether the environment and services meet their loved one's needs. You can verify this facility's license and view inspection reports at California's facility search. For more information about assisted living regulations in California, visit California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division.
Licensing requirements and regulations may change. We recommend verifying current requirements directly with your state's licensing agency.

Miranda and Dana are top notch. I visited about 7 places all around Sacramento. Atria was our top choice from the moment we walked in. They just offer a great energy. My mom has a great budget and she can afford to live anywhere she wants. There is something about the ambiance, you walk in and residents are packed in the lobby chatting, socializing, music playing. Every activity room they offered had residents out and about doing something. We checked out some of the fancy very expensive facilities and they felt like ghost towns, residents no where to be found. Miranda treated us to lunch, the food was outstanding (I was quite shocked actually) they actually have two restaurants which was really cool, my mom has a lot of choices. The staff have been so incredible. When did all of our paperwork after we signed up with Dana the Executive Director and she is by far amazing and someone very special. I highly recommend!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Atria El Camino is an exceptional ALF community that truly feels like home. The care and attention residents receive here is second to none. A special shoutout to Jean, the Don of Atria — her leadership, compassion, and genuine care set the tone for the entire place. You can feel her positive impact in everything from the warm atmosphere to the excellent staff. The activities are thoughtfully planned, the food is great, and the environment is always uplifting. I have complete peace of mind knowing my loved one is in such good hands. Highly recommend!
I don’t usually write reviews but this one is warranted. Atria Senior Living has been an absolute blessing for our family, and we couldn’t be happier with the care our grandmother has received. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and reassured that she was in the best possible hands. The facility is warm, inviting, and well-maintained, but what truly sets it apart is the incredible staff. Jean, the Director of Nursing, has been nothing short of amazing. She took the time to answer every question we had with patience and expertise, ensuring we felt confident in our decision. Her compassion and dedication to the residents are evident in everything she does, and knowing that she is overseeing my grandmother’s care gives our family invaluable peace of mind. Jean goes above and beyond to make sure every resident feels comfortable and well cared for. She doesn’t just treat them like patients, she treats them like family. Her kindness, attentiveness, and deep understanding of senior care make her an absolute gem in this field. It is clear that she genuinely loves what she does, and it reflects in the way she interacts with both residents and their families. Whether it’s addressing medical concerns, offering emotional support, or just taking a moment to check in, Jean is always there with a reassuring presence. She has a rare combination of skill, warmth, and dedication that makes all the difference in the lives of the residents and their families. It’s not just about medical care for her, it’s about making sure each resident feels safe, valued, and truly at home. Jean’s leadership, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to the well-being of others make her an irreplaceable part of Atria. Our family cannot thank her enough for the comfort and trust she has given us. A special thank you also to Miranda, the Sales Director, who made my grandmother’s transition so much easier. She was kind, professional, and helped guide us through the entire process with care.
We moved my mother-in-law out to California over a year ago and looked at several places for her that had memory care. Atria El Camino Gardens definitely gave the best first impression of all the places we toured. The facility was lovely with fresh flowers, spotless and cheerful. It did not have that sterile institutional feeling that some facilities have. The staff were attentive to the residents as well as their families. The environment was calm and peaceful. After 18 months I can honestly say it lives up to our first impressions - they do a lot of activities with the residents, the rooms are comfortable and bright, we always find her well cared for and happy. Would recommend to anyone looking for memory care.
Atria consistently puts their resident first and we are proud to associate with such a kind and compassionate group of individuals. They hosted the most recent AccentCare breakfast and introduced us to one of their beloved centennials. She reviewed her key to successful aging and praised AccentCare and Atria for the fabulous support she receives at their location.
