Fair Oaks Estates

Our mom, Pat, has been a resident at Fair Oaks for over six years now. She has needed care from both Memory Care and Assisted Living. From the very beginning we have been impressed with the care she has received. The staff at Fair Oaks have been accommodating of her dietary needs and personal preferences as she has gotten older. I am grateful for their flexibility, patience and care. I have toured many other facilities, some even recently, because my biggest wish is to do right by her. But perhaps the best recommendation comes from my mom herself: She has repeatedly told me, "Thank you for finding this place for me, you couldn't have done any better." The sweetest words I'll ever hear as a daughter caring for her elderly mother. Now if that isn't a recommendation, then I don't know what is.

During a visit with my friend we were walking down one of the halls overheard some derogatory things coming out of room 136 yelling and cussing when a person exited the room I then realized it was a caregiver that was saying bad things to a resident name tag said Caroline upon further inspection... Please be more mindful of who you hire and how they speak to the residents I was shocked and appalled

My mother has lived here since January 2023. I have had a good experience managing my mom's care with Parveen and Angie (the care directors). My mother has been difficult at times, but they have worked with me to accommodate her. When I visit it is clean and cheerful, they are always working to keep the residents in good spirits, they have a nice outdoor courtyard. I am so happy I found this FOE!

It’s been a year since my dad has moved into Fair Oaks Estates and we could t be more thrilled. My dad had a major stroke which left him mentally and physically disabled and could not be left alone. We love the facility, residents, and staff. It’s a beautiful place and close to my house as well. It’s very clean, music playing in hallways, and a beautiful courtyard with a lot of flowers. Did I mention the amazing staff? Thank you and your amazing staff for everything that you have done for our family. You have turned a difficult, stressful, traumatic, and depressing situation into a pleasant and calming one. Thanks again, Sean Murnane.

Fair Oaks Estates neglected and mismanaged my brother’s care to the point of endangering his life. This is documented in an investigation by the State of California Community Care Licensing. They have been cited multiple times (33 as of today.). The owner replied to another reviewer on here that they haven’t been cited in annual inspections by the state. He neglects to share that they have 33 citations in other inspections/investigations in response to complaints filed. The facility looks nice but the quality of care is severely deficient. I visited 2-3 times per week, addressed issues with multiple levels of management. They failed to give him his Lasix (essential medication) for 7 weeks! They failed to get him medical attention when staff reported problems with his catheter and that he was showing signs of infection. They didn’t notify family that he was sick. Thank God he went to a day program that actually cared about him. That day program called me immediately upon his arrival to report he was sick. I took him to ER where he was diagnosed with sepsis, UTI, and kidney failure. Our family seriously regrets placing him at Fair Oaks Estates!
