Sunrise of Chandler is a truly special place. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and care that the team brings every day. The building is clean, welcoming, and full of life—from the friendly smiles at the front desk to the laughter coming from the activities room. The team here genuinely cares about the residents and treats them like family. Whether it’s celebrating birthdays, organizing fun events, or just sitting down to chat, they go the extra mile to make sure everyone feels at home. Communication with families is consistent and transparent, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for a senior living community that feels like home, with a team that truly puts their heart into the work, I can’t recommend Sunrise of Chandler enough.

For anyone wondering if they should trust having there loved ones placed here, rest assured that this is a great place. From the staff members and even volunteers members (which I am apart of) this community home has built a true community. Apart form the thousands of social groups and activities that are all put together by two wonderful people ( Mrs. Kathy and Mrs. Debbie) these fun activities and great food make Sunrise enjoyable and feel like home. From simply going in for volunteer sessions I can see staff members interacting with the residents on a much deeper level. I have personally gotten the opportunity to get to know some of the residents and their stories, and I am not the only volunteer that knows these stories because we care, we care to listen and understand that the residents are not simply residents but individuals with stories to tell. The staff members in both cottages take time and getting to know the person they take care of. Yes our staff members are great at handing out the medicine that is needed or giving proper care but the staff member as well as volunteers dig deeper and help build this retirement home/community home to what it is now. Which is a community! I cannot stress enough from simply being a volunteer, I have felt so welcomed I might not see our residence as much as other volunteers are simply day-to-day employees, but I never once feel unwelcome. And my fellow volunteers and employees do such a great job with making sure that everyone that walked through that door whether it is a visitor, volunteer or new resident feels welcomed. I appreciate all the help make Sunrise of Chandler what it is!

I've had the privilege of knowing this community for several years. Professionalism from every team member within this community has always been wonderful. The head RN Karen is absolutely fantastic and a down to earth person you can really relate with especially when speaking about the care of your loved one. The staff in this community have been there for a long time too which is wonderful to see how committed they are to their residents and community. I recommend Sunrise Chandler to everybody.

If I could give Sunrise of Chandler 6 stars, I would! My dad fell and I needed immediate, temporary assisted living (also known as “respite care”) until I could move him to assisted living in my home state. I have visited people in assisted living and researched facilities near me- but none could touch Sunrise. The staff is happy, well-trained, competent and super-accommodating (especially Noel and Nurse Karen). My dad likes a good meal and the food quality and choices are superb. He is so comfortable and well cared for that I decided to have him stay where he is. One of his dinner table-mates has been at Sunrise for two years- he said he gives it a “big gold star.” I heartily agree! An update: six months later, I can only reinforce what I said at the start. My dad has received excellent care from compassionate people. And as the person managing his care, I can say they are all motivated to work with me and the resident to make an amazing experience. The food is a big issue for seniors, and this place provides restaurant quality food. And they seem to all be focused on the mission of being compassionate. As before, I can’t say enough good things about them. Check them out. Their rates are very reasonable, especially considering the high-quality care received!

My father-in-law recently spent a month in respite care at Sunrise Chandler while we were out of state on business. Kristal, Noel, and Logan immediately put us at ease. The staff is warm and welcoming and quickly took care of any of his needs. He enjoyed his stay and had nothing but praise for Sunrise and everyone he met. It was a comfort for us knowing that he was being taken care of so well. Thank you to all the staff. I highly recommend Sunrise Chandler
