This is absolutely a community I feel confident recommending to any family members exploring senior living options. I have personally referred many of our clients to the Maplewood properties over the years, and the feedback has always been excellent. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Maplewood for 9 years and the continue to exceed expectations in the industry. The staff is consistently warm, professional, and truly invested in the residents’ well- being. Every experience from tours, events to activities has been top-notch and thoughtfully organized.

After visiting many assisted living communities, I knew I had to leave a review so others searching for the right place would know just how incredible this community is. I came in with tough questions—and they had the best, most thoughtful answers every time. What really stood out to me was their commitment to staff training. From initial orientation to ongoing development throughout their careers, it’s clear they prioritize excellence in care. That level of investment speaks volumes. The community itself is absolutely beautiful and impeccably clean. Dining services feel like a 5-star restaurant—truly impressive. The grounds are stunning and so well maintained, creating a peaceful, welcoming environment. Everything is thoughtfully designed and laid out to give residents the highest quality of life. If you’re looking for a place where your loved one will be cared for with dignity, professionalism, and warmth, this is it.

Our dear Mom lived at Maplewood from Feb- July of 2025 when she passed . A new friend she met at Maplewood told her " it's the people who make this place." She couldn't have been more right . A difficult move was made a little easier by the friendly , positive , loving people we encountered at this facility . Our family was listened to and hugged whenever needed and especially at the end of moms life . Also she was cared for with patience , respect , kindness , smiles, positivity , gentleness , prayers , hand holding and hugs, and much love and compassion by the staff. The activities and religious services were enjoyed by our mom also . No place is perfect but the fact that the employees can continue to share so much love while caring for people at probably the most difficult time in their lives made a difference for her and for our family . .thanks to all who loved her at Maplewood !

Maplewood at Chardon is an incredible community, unique in its charming home-like atmosphere. The deep dedication from the staff (from top to bottom!) to ensure resident care, enrichment, and satisfaction is felt in every corner of the beautiful space. The community is vibrant, active, and fully resident focused in a way that feels so refreshingly different. Maplewood is truly Senior Living at its finest level.
