Canterbury Court

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt the need to this time. We’ve had a wonderful experience with the manager/director, LaToya. My mother struggles with a slight communication and language barrier. When I called for clarification, I was greeted with a warm and understanding approach, clarity, and professionalism. We feel very comfortable and happy with the care and treatment my mother has received as a resident. As a family member, I truly appreciate when our loved ones and senior citizens are treated with kindness and respect. From what I’ve seen, the maintenance team — including Alek — is very professional! at times I've been on the phone with my mother and I hear alek walking by and saying hello to my mother as well as some professional and friendly small talk. Latoya does an amazing job running a smooth ship, and making sure the residents are heard and taken care of! Great community! My move in was smooth. Toya and Carolina were great. Any questions or concerns I had. Carolina was available to assist. When I moved in the manager Toya was very welcoming. She asked if I had any concerns about my unit. My unit was fantastic. There were no issues.

I've been a resident for many years and I'm very happy with the current staff they're all very friendly and helpful. The Office ladies are always smiling and awesome. Maintenance staff work quickly on work orders and the new housekeeping Lady has the laundry rooms and common areas sparkling. Best team here so far in all the years I've been here.

I've been living here for a year now and being a visually impaired individual I must say this complex, Marisela Chavez, and her great staff that run it make this place an awesome place to live and call home. The units and grounds are very clean and well maintained. Considering what similar places are charging this complex is a hidden gem as far as I'm concerned. Being a life long San Diego/South Bay resident, I hope to call this home for many more years to come.

I have been living at Canterbury Court for just over 5 years now. I really like living at Canterbury. Its a very well maintained and attractive complex. The landscape is very pretty and the whole complex is very clean. Marisela Chavez, the Executive Director, has, and is, done a really great job managing the property. She really cares about the entire complex and its residents. Her staff is great, very friendly and are a direct reflection on Marisela's great management style. I would strongly recommend Canterbury Court for any senior looking for a nice pleasant place to live.
