Thrive at Green Island

GORGEOUS facility but the staff there is amazing. They have all gone above and beyond with helping us through the process of everything. Kristi answered questions on the weekend and after hours. She gave us her personal cell number to keep in touch. And all of this communication happened with Kristi without us even committing to them. Kristi was there for us every single time we reached out. There just isn’t enough space to say all of the wonderful things she’s done for us and she is the main reason we chose Thrive. We are so grateful and happy to know our family members are so well cared for.

My father became a resident at Thrive in 2022 and has had a very positive experience living there. I had visited other facilities, but none felt "just right". When I walked into Thrive at Green Island, I was immediately at ease where with some of the others, I couldn't wait to leave. My father and I met with Kerry Jo, who is very compassionate with her work, and made the whole process very simple. She was always available to answer any questions I had. Additionally, the staff are very friendly, making a person feel at ease while there. One of the big positives of Thrive that is important to me is the various activities they do that are versatile. They appeal to both the ladies and the gents. Each time we would visit my father, he, being the gentleman, would always walk us out to the front entrance. He would speak to each person he saw and comment to me "everyone here treats me so good". Now that makes your heart smile! He now needs a wheelchair to get around and prefers to remain in his apartment rather than seeing us to the door, and that's just fine. And he still comments on how well they take care of him.

I came here for some rehabilitation after a traumatic health issue . This is truly a wonderful place. Every single person that works here seems to know your name. It was also delightful to have a well appointed apartment with the gym and therapy company just down the hall!!!

Thrive @ Green Island for the most part of the past 2 and 1/2 years has been a wonderful , professional and loving place for my husband. With the recent transition, many things have changed. Still a caring facility but have lost some personal touches that were present at the beginning. I still would recommend Thrive @Green Island for their professionalism but miss the personal compassion given by many of the staff (and many who have left). Anne Hoffman

We love Thrive. My mother has lived here for 5 years and it’s been a great experience. We love Tiffany and the precious care team that always take great care of us ( she has to take care of me and my sisters too lol) and Renita❤️❤️❤️❤️. And Of course Ethel!!!! ❤️And Cara!!!!! ❤️So many!!! We are really going to miss Keri Joe. She has been the face of Thrive for the last couple of years and I’m soooo sad she is leaving. She is like family and loves our mother and everyone that lives there so much. When we give thanks this year, Thrive will be on the top of our list.
