The Ashford on Broad

My loved one has been a resident for almost 4 years and loves his room, staff, and activities. He had some recent health issues that required a few weeks of care outside the facility. He worked so hard to be able to come back- he loves it that much! When he walked back into The Ashford, staff and residents welcomed him. The nursing leadership and nursing staff were so efficient in handling instructions and orders during recovery. Staff from activities, maintenance, dining room, patient care, and front desk welcomed him home. So grateful for the care he receives.

Christi and Sherry are both warm, kind and personable. The Ashford on E Broad is clean, friendly and a great place for your loved one.

I had the pleasure of meeting the new leadership and team at this community. They’ve built an exceptional group—warm, welcoming, and truly dedicated to caring for our seniors. It’s a wonderful atmosphere the moment you walk in.

The facility is clean, and the staff are nice and helpful. There are activities for residents, and I’ve always had great communication from the staff. Overall, it’s a great place for senior care.

Awesome Resident! Wonderful Staff! There is always plenty to do in this beautiful building! 1/31/2020 Still just as happy as I was a year ago! The Ashford on Broad is the perfect place for most seniors that want to stay active and involved in the community. The community bus takes the residents shopping at least once a week. They also go out to hear music, see shows, eat lunch and take part in programs offered at the Whitehall Senior Center and Whitehall Parks and Rec. There are activities within the community like bingo, exercise and crafts to keep mom busy. When mom does not want to be involved she has a nice apartment with most of her favorite things for her home. She never has to eat alone and I like knowing that she is not just opening a can of soup and only eat that. The food is very good and a nice variety. At this point, my mother is not using the nursing services that are offered. I feel good knowing that when she does need help the staff will already know her and she will be comfortable with the friendly staff.
