Ocean Ridge Assisted Living

Really enjoyed meeting the Staff at Ocean Ridge this afternoon. Barbara Milliron and Diane Mason both were very friendly and professional. They took the time to go over all the services they offer. Barbara even took us on a tour of facility and two apartments. We appreciated how they literally dropped what they were doing to greet us and took the time away from their busy day as we just went to Ocean Ridge unannounced. Wonderful, Clean, Bright and inviting establishment!

As a volunteer for Furry Friends my dog 🐶 Jack and went to all the facilities in Coos Bay, Coquille and Myrtle Point. When I needed to find assisted-living for my mama I knew that Ocean Ridge was the place I wanted her to be! From the first contact the Marketing Director was very attentive to all my requests for all the details. She answered all of my questions in a very timely fashion. Covid 19 prevented me from visiting Mama, so when a job opened up to be a driver to take residents to their doctors appointments and different errands I “unretired” so that I could visit Mama anytime. Since then I have worked with the staff and watched how each of them pitch in to help whenever it’s needed. The caretakers and the med techs are so dedicated and kind to all the residents.The door to the Executive Director is always open and residents feel free to come in and talk with her about anything that they need to. I have been honored to help residents in small ways and learn about their lives, they make me feel so appreciated! I would highly recommend this assisted living facility for anyone!

Do not let your family member stay here. Literally any other facility in the area is better than this dumpster fire. It was amazing the last few years but it has gone downhill BAD. Save yourself and your family member the headache.

Having to move our mom and dad out of the home they had lived in for over 40 years was the most difficult thing my brothers and I had to do. Living in a rural area made it difficult to find help and the time it took to get to them in an emergency was too long. They are now in a safe environment, have caring caregivers, have the opportunity to participate in social activities and 3 meals daily. We have made their apartment as close to their home as possible and they can come and go ss they please. Ocean Ridge encourages family participation and has facilities to accommodate get togethers as well. We see mom and dad on a regular basis and feel confident in the care they are given. The staff is supportive and always open to hear concerns; they are their second family and we appreciate all that they do.

When we were faced with the need to place my parents in an Assisted Living facility over ten years ago, Ocean Ridge was like a beacon of hope compared to other places that were available at the time. It's a beautiful facility and the staff members are very caring and have become like family. My father passed away a year and a half ago, and the staff has been very loving, supportive, and attentive to my mother since his passing. She absolutely loves it there and has made some wonderful friends. I can't say enough good things about Ocean Ridge Assisted Living!
