Clermont Park Assisted Living

I am still shopping for my mom, but we have visited Clermont twice for tours. Marcie, their Sales Counselor, is amazing and so helpful. Clermont’s atmosphere is very welcoming and all the residents seem genuinely happy to be living there. They have several pricing options to fit many needs (which is unique), and also have all the levels of care on site (including skilled nursing) which makes them stand out. We haven’t made our final decision yet, but I already know you absolutely couldn’t go wrong selecting Clermont as your new home.

Clermont Park is such a wonderful community. My mom is a new person since moving here, she has come back to life and is thriving. She so enjoys participating in the exercise classes, art classes and the many other opportunities each week. The social aspect of living in this community is amazing, everyone is so friendly and welcoming.

I would like to give a huge shout out to Marcie Walthers. Her friendliness and knowledge about navigating me through a situation I’ve been dealing with is above and beyond my expectations. Senior community -I live in "independent living," there is also assisted living and memory care. Restaurant food service for residents and guests. Gated community with 24/7 concierge. Lots of on-going activities gor residents. Great staff and one of best sr communities in Denver. Waitlist for Sr HUD subsidized 1 bed, worth the wait.

Update: Really disappointed, with all the high stats was hoping this would be a good place for mom to rehab. The jury is still out on this care facility, hence the 2 stars, it’s dropping, originally I put a 3. The pharmacy is inadequate. On the day of arrival (Wednesday) the pharmacy did not process pain meds until 10-11pm (arrived from the hospital around 230. On Friday I asked if we could get something for inflammation , it was approved but was told it would not be available for her until Sunday - What the hell! I can go to CVS or a grocery store and get an Rx in 30-60 mins! Found out today her pain meds were ‘as needed’ she has chronic pain and also has dementia, should have been scheduled meds. Another fail someplace in the system. The facility is clean and looks nice, that is a plus. The staff is very kind! That is another plus this rehab facility has going for it. But I’m leary that they are understaffed, especially on weekends - every time I have tried to follow up with meds or needs and I would call the desk, I get VM. Food is AWFUL!! Cabbage Soup, Cauliflower Soup? Cream of Spinach Soup (most likely leftovers from another day. These are not normal kind of soups. Canned Spinach (this should be banned from all shelves, I won’t even donate canned spinach to the food bank) it was over cooked to smush. Cold broccoli and croutons. Most of the meals except for breakfast & desserts have been returned almost untouched. I wonder if the directors and employees each this. On my meeting with admin, I asked if they ate any of the foods, quiet. Admin said they had dietary restrictions, I said I’m sure lots of patients also have restrictions. Then commented they need to get creative with meals, creative is an understatement. Call light has not been in reach to call for assistance. Mom has not had a shower since arriving (tmrw is one week). Mom is begging me to either send her back to the hospital or let her go home. Will probably bring her home sooner. The 2 reasons she is there is pain mgmt and PT for her shoulder, neither have been helped. Update: Admins patiently listened to my criticisms of the center and said they would immediately start investigating. We have a care meeting in less than 24 hrs. I’ll be curious the answers.
