When we were looking for a new care setting for our Mom, we wanted to find a comfortable home with a spacious room she could make her own; leadership with not just experience and expertise but a passion for serving frail elders; and knowledgeable, personable staff who we believed would get to know our Mom as a unique individual and would help meet her needs and her desire to live her life her way despite her disabilities and health issues. We found all of that at Angelwings Senior Care. We will be forever grateful to Amelia, Christine and all of the Angelwings staff for their compassion and caring - not just for Mom, but also for us - during the last seven months of our Mom’s life.

Our 101 year old grandmother has lived at Angelwings in Des Moines, WA since March 2020. We could not be happier or more pleased with the amazing care and love she is receiving. It's a beautiful new facility with kind and caring ownership and staff! They have demonstrated expert knowledge of elder care and given personalized attention to her nutritional, medical, and emotional needs. If her beautiful adult family home is unavailable, she diligently endeavors to locate another high-quality adult family home that can offer the same level of care she provides.

Amelia provided excellent care for my mother-in-law, Beverly. Amelia sets a very high standard for the comfort and caregiving of loved ones in a beautiful home setting. She is compassionate, loving towards her residents and very organized. My mother-in-law’s physicians have always had high praise for Amelia’s knowledge and record keeping. Amelia makes family members feel welcome, especially for celebrations and the holidays. We feel very fortunate to have had such wonderful care for Beverly.

This is a new building/facility with very experienced owners Amila and Cornelius Hertog who are very active in day to day management along with their senior caregiver Christine and the rest of the staff. Everyone is very caring and compassionate. I am very pleased with the attention to detail and the involvement of management. My wife Susan has been at this home since September. Susan shows great improvement in her ability to walk,to sit up and to be more conversant. I am very astonished by this. Great job by Team Angelwings. I highly recommend this facility. Ira Groves
