Cedar Creek Senior Living
Cedar Creek Senior Living
Cedar Creek Senior Living is a licensed housing with services located in East Bethel, Minnesota. Minnesota Housing with Services establishments are registered establishments that provide or arrange for supportive or healthcare services. This is separate from but often combined with Assisted Living facility licensure.
Services may include assistance with daily living activities, medication management, health monitoring, meals, housekeeping, personal care, and coordination of healthcare services. The specific services are determined by individual service agreements.
Who We Serve: Housing with Services serves adults who need varying levels of assistance and wish to receive services in their own apartment or living unit rather than in a traditional care facility.
Licensing: Registered with the Minnesota Department of Health under Minnesota Statutes, section 144D.
Payment Options: In Minnesota, Medicaid may help pay for assisted living through the Elderly Waiver (EW). Eligibility is based on both financial and functional criteria. Contact Minnesota Department of Human Services or visit https://mn.gov/dhs/people-we-serve/seniors/services/ to learn about eligibility requirements and how to apply. Wait lists are common for waiver programs, so applying early is recommended.
Families researching assisted living options should verify the facility's current license status, review any inspection reports, and schedule a visit to assess whether the environment and services meet their loved one's needs. For more information about assisted living regulations in Minnesota, visit Minnesota Department of Health.
Licensing requirements and regulations may change. We recommend verifying current requirements directly with your state's licensing agency.

Cedar Creek is not a “facility”, it is a home! My father lived at Cedar Creek for three years. He loved his time at Cedar Creek; he often told me how lucky he was and how comfortable he was there. It’s a beautiful home for seniors, but the beauty of Cedar Creek is really the people! The people at Cedar Creek were not just his care givers but they were his friends. They were so important to him, they were his extended family. My father passed away here and other than my home, I can’t think of a place that was better for him to be in his final hours. He was truly loved by everyone there. There is no better place for your loved one than Cedar Creek. Thank God for them!
My brother (Richard Aurandt) posted a review for Cedar Creek, but as the family member who was the primary contact regarding Dad's care, I am compelled to also post. Dad lived in assisted living for one year and two years in memory care. The aides and nurses listened to Dad when he complained about a new symptom or pain. He felt like he was heard and appreciated their concern. Although most symptoms could be handled by the staff, there were about 10 times in 3 years when I was asked to bring Dad to his physician. In every case, they were correct in recommending he be seen by his doctor or transported to a hospital. I felt confident in following the staff's advice. Without fail, whenever I left a call-back request for anyone at Cedar Creek, it was returned promptly. Concerns about Dad's care were never allowed to become problems. Every concern that I brought to Cedar Creek was resolved to my satisfaction, resulting in the best situation for Dad. Everyone I worked with was kind and caring, taking time to chat with Dad and say hello to family who visited. The excellent nursing care was supported by wonderful administrative staff--the executive director, marketing director, nursing directors, business office directors, receptionists, and activities directors. Dining, maintenance, and cleaning staff contributed to the happiness of Dad and family while he lived there. Our family was touched by the compassion of his caregivers during the last week of his life, as he was placed on hospice. Many caregivers stopped in to say their goodbyes and talk with us about how honored they were to have taken part in his care. On the day he died, 15-20 staff lined the halls as the funeral director took Dad away from the home he had grown to love. Even though Dad is gone, I will continue to visit memory care residents with my little dog who has made many "grand-friends."
I started with Cedar Creek Senior Living before we had our first resident move in. I enjoy watching new people move in and after a few weeks I see them participating in group activities and I see how happy they become both physically and socially. Our staff take very good care of our residents, and they go out of their way to make sure everyone is comfortable and safe. I appreciate working with the staff here and I really like all the people that live here as well.
My father Joe is a resident at Cedar Creek in the memory care wing. We are so blessed to have such such beautiful and clean facility. The staff works hard to not only care for the needs but are tireless in making the experience for our family wonderful.
