Brentwood at Elkhart Assisted Living

This community has some of the most welcoming families. They truly enjoy each other and have always been smiling and laughing when I have attended a function there.

Brentwood Assisted Living has been absolutely wonderful to work with. I have been so impressed with all the staff members that I have come in contact with, from Administration, to nurses to kitchen staff. Everyone is so kind and super helpful. I feel so blessed to have my Dad here. Thank you to all! You are a blessing!

This is the first time I have written a review for Brentwood Assisted Living in Elkhart and I am compelled to do so due to a recent review that was brought to my attention. Both of my parents have had the privilege to live here: my Mother, 8 years; my Dad, going on 14 years. I have had plenty of opportunities to assess both the building and the employees. Management has changed multiple times during this period, however there is one constant: the dedication of the entire staff to their residents. Whether it be the nurses, the maintenance, the kitchen, the activities or the housekeeping personnel, they support each other to provide the best care possible, and it shows. THANK YOU!

We’ve had four members of our family live at Brentwood assisted-living. One parent passed away last year after living there for eight years and another parent is still there after living there for 13+ years. We have seen multiple mgmt companies and executive directors come and go, but the one consistent thing has been the majority of the nursing staff (with the lead of Jeanne & Barb) as well as key positions, who have worked there for many years. They exhibit incredible warmth and compassion and this is across multiple positions, including the receptionist, social activities staff, the dining room, maintenance and cleaning gals. Of course, there's always new hires and if they're not a good fit they are gone sooner or later. Another example of thoughtfulness is when some of the staff showed up at our mother’s celebration of life. It's the long-term staff that have been the glue for this facility. I am incredibly grateful for the staff and facilities at Brentwood assisted living in Elkhart and I recommend it highly. Jenni B.

I'm only giving one star because zero stars is not an option. I found the senior managers to be less than compassionate and they offered no concern for the feelings of family members. I would never recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for quality care for their loved one.
