Silverado Encinitas Memory Care Community

We recently moved our mother from another Memory Care Unit in another state to Silverado Encinitas. In the time my mother has been here, the workers in all areas of the facility have been outstanding. Everyone is knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. If you have a question, they do not brush you off, but do their best to help or direct you to the person who can help you. The residents are treated with respect and as adults, not talked too or ignored like children which I have seen in other facilities. The rooms, both personal and communal, are kept very clean. The residents themselves are very well taken care of and are clean and dressed with the same level of care as when they were independent. The residents have a good amount of freedom to go to areas they are happy, but are still safe and not at risk of escape. I love that they use different types of animals in therapy, and there are always some available for the residents to view and at times interact with. The food is good and they are given some choices. There are also areas for when family and friends come to visit that you can eat privately and even bring in food your family member enjoys. While it is very hard having my mother in this mental state, I am more comfortable and confident with her care at Silverado Encinitas than I have been in some time. I can also say my mother is much happier here than when she was in her other placement. I am no longer constantly worrying if my mother is happy and safe, during her time at Silverado Encinitas, I know she is.

I have been visiting a friend here for almost 3 years. In that time, the same group of wonderful employees have been working there. They are all attentive, loving people and they take the best care of every person that lives there. I have never, not one time seen a person left in a bad condition. The clients that live there are always clean and dressed and as active as they can be. The facility is always clean, the food is good and both the employees and the people who live there are happy. I've seen a lot of Memory Care Living and Silverado is by far the best care in San Diego!

As a client care manager, I frequently visit Silverado to check on our clients’ care, and I am consistently impressed by the exceptional attention and support they provide to their residents. The team goes above and beyond to ensure that every new resident receives the extra care they need during the transition, helping them feel comfortable and at home. The residents truly thrive in this warm and welcoming environment, thanks to the outstanding staff and the strong sense of family within the community. Families can be fully at ease knowing their loved ones are in a safe, compassionate, and nurturing space. I highly recommend Silverado and their dedicated, caring team.

I have been to this community many times. The staff are so friendly and show that they really care. They have great amenities and is a great place for family members to come visit their loved one. They provide excellent support for your loved one with memory loss. I really love the atmosphere here!

Finding the right place for my father was no easy task, but speaking from experience this place is outstanding. I wanted people who would truly care sincerely for my father and Rebecca and staff have gone beyond any expectations. We are so grateful for their compassion.
