River Grove Memory Care

My mother has been a resident at River Grove for about 8 months now. There have been a few hiccups along the way, but all being resolved with a quick phone call. I met Charlie a few years ago while at another facility, he was awesome then and still is today. Full of energy that is instantly passed onto the residents. The facility is beautiful, parking a little difficult. They care about the staff and when changes need to happen, they listen. Great place, I feel comfortable having my parent. Jennifer Weast

Placing my loved one in a memory facility was a well thought out and probably one of the toughest decisions I have ever faced. It has now been nearly five months with a few ups and downs as far as my spouse’s health issues have been concerned but I have to say that River Grove has met each crisis with intelligence, skill and empathy. This is a safe and loving place to relinquish care of your loved one. It is very clean, modern homes and beautifully landscaped. Communication is excellent and they are always respectful of family input. I have 42 years of loving my career of being a Registered Nurse….ICU, CCU, Home Health. I recognize that nothing is ever or rarely 100% but this facility excels in care as far as I am concerned.on most days. I recommend River Grove Memory Care.

My mother has resided at River Grove for 16 months now. The facility itself is clean and well maintained, inside and out. Mom is mostly happy to live there and calls some of the staff and other residents her new family. Unfortunately, there have been three different directors during mom’s time there, which has been an issue with consistency, responsibility and communication. Mom loves Perry and Michelle the mostest. I love that they both are patient with mom as well as kind. There are others, I’m just not the best with names. I am hoping that I can increase my rating for River Grove with the new director running the facility, I’m cautiously optimistic.

My mom was a resident at River Grove for 12 1/2 months before she passed. River Grove was wonderful the entire time. Each room is private so your family member doesn't have to share space. The staff is caring and loving even when dementia patients are not so much. Every request and/or concern was addressed immediately and when my mom had to be moved to another cottage with more care in her last 5 days the staff moved all her items to the new room for us. They were always there to help with anything even to listen to us or give a hug. ALL the staff is caring and I would not hesitate to refer anyone in need to this facility. The grounds are clean and well kept and they have outside areas that are safe as well.

River Grove memory care has such a great atmosphere. I attended their walkathon event and you could genuinely see how much their staff cares for their residents. They made every single resident feel important and appreciated. I highly recommend River Grove for all your memory care needs.
