Walnut Creek Memory Care

Walnut Creek Memory Care provided exceptional care for my Pawpaw, and I couldn’t be more grateful. We transferred him from another facility where the level of engagement and care simply wasn’t meeting his needs. At Walnut Creek, everything changed for the better. From the moment we stepped foot in the building for a tour, it was clear that this facility is thoughtfully designed with memory care and Alzheimer’s in mind—even the lighting makes a difference. It took a little time for him to adjust (as expected), but within a couple of weeks, we saw a remarkable improvement in his mood, energy, and engagement. Instead of spending his days isolated in his room watching TV (as he had at the previous facility), he was up and about, walking around, socializing, and drawn to the inviting common areas. The daily activities at Walnut Creek are intentionally created to stimulate the mind and bring joy. He particularly loved pet therapy. He eagerly enjoyed every meal and became more engaged with others during mealtimes—and I have to say, the food is genuinely excellent. I tried several meals myself and was thoroughly impressed. Every staff member I encountered—from nursing and kitchen staff to housekeeping—was consistently kind, compassionate, and deeply committed to the well-being of the residents. I truly can't emphasize this enough: everyone there genuinely cares. During my visits, I often had many questions as I closely monitored my Pawpaw’s progress and how he was adjusting. The nursing staff was incredibly accommodating—despite their busy schedules, they always took the time to answer my questions thoroughly and with patience. Their openness, communication, and willingness to keep me informed gave me so much peace of mind. In a field as emotionally demanding as memory care, their empathy and dedication made a lasting impact on me and my family. We recognize the incredible strength and patience it takes to do this work day in and day out. Walnut Creek gave my Pawpaw quality of life and dignity during a challenging chapter. I will forever be thankful for the incredible care he received.

Our mother is a patient at Walnut Creek. We can only compliment them on their treatment of her. The staff has been very cooperative and so willing to help make our mother comfortable. They are very compassionate and understanding of this very nasty disease.

My best friend is at Walnut Creek. I visit her several times a week at different times of the day. The staff works very hard and still takes time to give specific attention to each resident. They learn things about each person so they can treat them like family, not just a resident. I am so glad we moved her to Walnut Creek!!

Walnut Creek provides exceptional care for your loved one. While my wife was there she had excellent care by everyone member of the staff. They showed a great deal of care and compassion for her and everyone. Since they have a singular focus of dementia/Alzheimer’s/Lewy Body, your loved will be provided with special care according to their needs. They screen their employees very well which results with an exception operation. Their team members work together to provide the best possible care and compassion you want for your loved one.

If I could give this place a negative review I would!! They are the nastiest and rudest place ever. I had a family member that was in horrible shape and they treated her like trash and mistreated her as well. There was a lot of elderly abuse and mistreatment of the family. The facility would not communicate with the family. The company took thousands from my elderly grandma that was in no shape but they continued to mistreat her or take care of her! The company refuses to pay back the money after the hell that my family has gone through!! If you go to this company expect your loved one to be abused and for your money to be taken from you!! This is the worst place for a loved one!!!
