Brookdale Farmington Hills

I have found Brookdale Farmington Hills to be a delightful place to live. The staff have been consummate, caring, concerned and diligently working to meet the needs expressed by residents. Mike, Nancy, Stephanie, Amy, Jerome Caprice, Jeffrey, Lois and Ashley have been exceptional personnel just to name a few. Special recognition and accolades go to Ann and Anne, Rowena and Shonnae also. I want to "thank all of you" for blessing my life in these challenging circumstances! Therefore, I thank God for you and my prayer is that the Good Lord blesses, protects, prospers and provides for all of your needs!

Great place for My Mom to live independently with a safety net. Pull cords in apartments. Medication management and all homecare help at a extra cost if needed. This is not a nursing home or assisted living. This is independent living but with help. I would love to live here when I am older. Beautiful apartments and very spacious. They allow pets (two), a private patio screened in and sits at the back of the apartment. Beautiful, kind caring staff. Excellent choice compared to all the others in the area. I recommend this place. Tell them I sent you. I looked all over and I choose Brookdale of Farmington Hills for my Mom. she made a best friend. She has her two cats. She plays bingo and that is offered 7 days a week, goes shopping all over to various stores ,bar b q's on the patio ,Las Vegas night, Halloween party with kids treat or treating, water aerobics, and lots of fun events. There are always activities and a great mix of fun for the people who live there at Brookdale. There is a Beauty shop and a little store for essentials. Three meals a day, laundry and house keeping. I would live there myself. Compared to all other places, this was my best choice for my Mom. Beautiful set up and great people live here. Highly recommended. Far better than a nursing home!!!

My grandmother has been living at Brookdale for about 7 months. She absolutely loves it. She’s made so many friends there. They have many activities for the seniors to be social and active. Stephanie and Nancy are amazing at what they do. They are so good with my grandmother and the others. We had a situation where my grandmother needed to be protected and they handled it so professionally. She loves her cleaning lady who is so nice. Jessica is the head of cleaning and she is always making sure that the residents are happy. The maintenance always does a wonderful job.The only thing is that the food definitely needs to improve and the bus needs to be working more. That’s the only reason why I didn’t give them 5 stars.

I am very happy with the environment my Mother is living in. The staff is truly caring and have gone over and above expectations to insure she is comfortable and happy. Although they are experiencing major staffing shortages, as is the rest of the country, they all jump in to make sure all needs are met, including the Manager cleaning rooms, the front staff serving meals and even doing laundry. They continue to offer first-rate activities, excursions and field trips. They are maintaining a safe environment and show respect to the residents as individuals. I would recommend this facility.

A great place to retire and not have to worry about the things you've had to do to keep a house up and in good shape.
