I toured American House at Cottage in Grosse Pointe last week, and was pleasantly surprised by all the renovation work that had taken place over the past couple of years, along with the fantastic amenities. Both Christine Eugenio and Leslie (leadership there), were genuine, supportive and knew their community. Its was a great experience. The location is amazing (on the Hill in GP with lots of shops, restaurants and coffee options). I cannot recommend this senior living community more. The rooms are like little apartments and were immaculate! The staff was super friendly, even when they didn't know I was observing :)
My in-laws have spent the last year at AH Grosse Pointe. It is a wonderful facility. It is clean and friendly. The staff are extremely helpful and responsive. There is a workout facility, hair salon, foot care and medical care on site. This is the perfect place to transition from living at home, to independent living to assisted living. My father-in-law would remark, "these are my new friends". Moving to AH was the best decision we ever made!
My mom spent 30 days there to rehab from a broken pelvis and take part in a multidisciplinary rehab with outside PT/OT after she spent 2 weeks in a Medicare approved facility- she was denied additional time so we paid private for this service! American House , the Director and most important the healthcare staff were fantastic! I can not say enough good things about this place - she is now home doing wonderfully. Family involvement is key ! Nice job AH Grosse Pointe !😊🙏🏼
The entire team at American House Grosse Pointe has been A+...from our initial meeting with Christine E (who provided our complete tour, options and introductions with care and concern)...The business office, managed by Brittany - made the process smooth and understandable, and Leslee, the Director is present, welcoming and so approachable. Last, but certainly not least, nurse Emily L met with me and Mom (several times) her first day. Emily is reassuring and caring. She made Mom feel very comfortable and listened to our needs and concerns. A wonderful team in Grosse Pointe. Thank you!
I had the most incredible time at American House Grosse Pointe's 10-year anniversary party! The event was a testament to the love and dedication of the entire team. Britney, who orchestrated the whole celebration, did so with such excellence—every detail was perfect. The facility's director, Leslie, truly pours her heart and soul into this community, and it's so evident in the joyous atmosphere. A huge shout-out to Christine, Pat, Madeline, and Kaitlin! The genuine love and care they showed for the residents were so heartwarming and beautiful to witness. Natalie was a star, getting everyone up and dancing; it was absolutely the cutest thing I've ever seen and filled the room with so much joy. And I can't forget about Bill, the chef! The food was out of this world—the Beef Wellington was truly one of the best things I've ever tasted. The flavors were phenomenal. The drinks were also a highlight, thanks to Roaming Spirits! Their raspberry sour and coconut mojito were incredibly refreshing and delicious—I couldn't get enough of them! It was so amazing to see how happy all the residents were. This place is more than just a senior living community; it's a home filled with love, laughter, and an incredible staff that feels like family. I highly recommend American House Grosse Pointe!
