The Gardenias

Our mom was at this facility for 3 1/2 years & I should've written this eons ago. From the start, she received great, loving care. All the ladies from the front office to all the CNAs treated mom with the upmost respect & love. Anytime we had concern or issue, it was addressed immediately & our minds were put at ease. I have referred numerous people to this facility. We lost mom on June 24th & they were with us every step of the way. I can't say enough about Robin & Erin & all the workers. No one wants to have to make the choice to place their loved one in a memory care facility, but if you have to, I definitely recommend The Gardenias.

We are so happy with the care given here for Mom. Robin and Erin run a great facility. Clean and updated. This gives us peace knowing Mom is being cared for in a loving environment. All the staff is very kind and does a great job. I would highly recommend this facility if you are looking for a place for a loved one and not have to worry.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience at this facility. My Mom was there for respite care, I told them, Robin and Erin she was a fall risk. My Mom is 90 years old with memory issues and limited mobility. While there for 2 weeks while I was out if town for my Job my Mom fell twice. The first time she skinned her elbow falling while walking with her walker, The second time she was taken to the emergency room for 2 lacerations on her head above her eye, glasses broke. I was returning the next day. I could NOT get there fast enough to get my Mom out of there.

I would not want any of my loved ones here. I was only here for a few minutes to pick up a patient and what I witnessed in those few minutes made me sick. The employees were very rude to the family member of the resident we were transporting to the point they made her cry. If helping these people who can not help themselves is such a bother to you then you are in the wrong profession. I feel sorry for the residents who are still at this place. If you are considering this place for your family please don’t.

The staff and facility is a wonderful place to leave your loved ones. They are caring and compassionate and very attentive to the needs of their clients and family memebers. The owners are very dedicated to their clients, staff and the clients family members. The place is well kept and nutritional values are amazing. They make you feel welcome and you leave knowing your loved ones are in remarkable, skillfully trained hands.
