About

Chantilly Lace Manor

Chantilly Lace Manor is a licensed residential care elderly located in Hesperia, California. Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) provide non-medical care and supervision in a homelike setting for people 60 years and older who are unable to live independently.

Chantilly Lace Manor has a licensed capacity of 6 residents. Services include assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management. RCFEs also provide meals, housekeeping, laundry, social activities, and 24-hour supervision. Many offer specialized care for residents with memory impairment.

Who We Serve: RCFEs serve older adults who need assistance with daily activities but do not require 24-hour skilled nursing care. Residents may include those with early to mid-stage dementia, mobility limitations, or chronic health conditions.

Licensing: RCFEs in California are typically licensed by the Community Care Licensing Division of the California Department of Social Services under Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations.

Payment Options: In California, Medicaid may help pay for assisted living through the Assisted Living Waiver (ALW). Eligibility is based on both financial and functional criteria. Contact California Department of Health Care Services or visit https://www.dhcs.ca.gov/services/ltc/Pages/AssistedLivingWaiver.aspx to learn about eligibility requirements and how to apply. Wait lists are common for waiver programs, so applying early is recommended.

Families researching assisted living options should verify the facility's current license status, review any inspection reports, and schedule a visit to assess whether the environment and services meet their loved one's needs. You can verify this facility's license and view inspection reports at California's facility search. For more information about assisted living regulations in California, visit California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division.

Licensing requirements and regulations may change. We recommend verifying current requirements directly with your state's licensing agency.

My husband is staying at Chantilly Lace, and we couldn’t be more thankful. He was staying at a different board and care for 2 months. They did not care for my husband as I thought they should and they would not talk with me, his wife about anything that pertained to my husband. The people here at Chantilly Lace really care for each resident here. They are loving, caring and attentive caregivers, each and everyone of them. Teri, the owner is such a caring and loving person, she really cares about the residents and their. I feel she goes above and beyond and so do the women she employs. We are very happy here.

Chantilly Lace Manor is a wonderful place if you are looking for a home for your loved one. The staff is amazing , caring and loving, and the owner Teri is amazing. I was fortunate to have the privilege to place my mom in one of Teri’s amazing home under her care. My mother has dementia and anxiety. I was so scared to place my mom in a home. I met Teri and her amazing staff and she guided me through the process. Teri truly loves each and everyone of her residents , she treats them as her own family and provides a safe and family experience. When you walk in you feel and see the love the residents have for her and each other along with the staff. Since my mom has been there I have seen her flourish physically and emotionally . She has made friends , I’ve made friends with the residents. The hardest thing to do is place a loved one in a home, we think we can handle it ourselves.. but reality with dementia slapped me in the face . I was exhausted, I was a wreck . Teri stepped in as a saving Angel helped me emotionally and took over immediately to guide me through the process. She was truly a guiding light. She then began taking care of my mom immediately . She provides a very safe home beautiful experience for our loved ones. I highly recommend her and her loving staff. They are truly a gift from God. I blessed to have my mom and I part of the Chantilly Lace Manor Family. If you are looking for perfect place for your loved one .. I promise you this it.

Thank you the Owner and loving caregivers whom took such good care of my cousin with her battle of a rare form of dementia which not only took her memories but her mobility as well. Seeing her wither away for the last 11 months was heartbreaking but I felt comfort in knowing she was taken such good care . Betwern her best friend and I we visited weekly and she was always clean and well taken care of. ❤❤❤

The owner has no business being in charge of this type or any type of care facility and should be reviewed by the State and have her license revoked indefinitely. How dare she call a family member and call them a “murderer” for wanting to stop a medication on a loved one suffering, knowing there is a DNR in place is completely unacceptable and disgusting. And then to “misplace” a binder to a patient is unprofessional. Thank goodness for a staff that was outstanding.

Named after an asinine late 50’s rock song, chantilly lace is for sure a place you can leave your elderly family when you can’t, or won’t, care for them anymore - without totally breaking the budget (though in my opinion, it is still insanely expensive). The quality of care my parent received there was okay - I always felt they did the best they could under the circumstances - but calling it a “manor” is hysterical. It’s a small house with smaller bedrooms, most of them housing two seniors at a time to ensure they have no privacy whatsoever nor room to move. At between 2000 and 3000 bucks a pop and six residents at a time, the house generates some serious income. More details on that in a bit. The owner is a brash, conservative woman who will freely share her religious and political opinions with you without being asked. I suppose more could not be asked of a business owner who, to my knowledge and according to the licenses posted on the wall - is only a CNA. A CNA running an assisted living home? Really??? Her staff were okay but super young, and- according to some things I heard while there - were paid under the table, in cash. That may have changed, but it certainly leads to other questions such as Are THEY licensed? What happens if THEY make a mistake - they wouldn’t be covered by insurance. Is this place even legal??? And why can’t this lady pay payroll tax with that much money coming in? Oh, and I forgot to mention - she owned THREE of these such homes at the time (now FOUR!) My brother, upon visiting the one chance he got, even asked me how the owner was getting away with “this fancy racket she has going on”. Not that he minded, he is an alt-right conservative/objectivist who hates all government regulation, and I could see a glimmer in his eye wondering how HE could join the racket given that all his previous career endeavors failed miserably. That illustrates how professional the place “feels”. There’s usually only one caregiver (read;: under the table woman in scrubs) working at a time. That doesn’t seem super safe to me. Oh, and the owner bullied us into changing my parent’s hospice provider, since she didn’t understand HIPAA regulations accurately and refused to let the company we came in with do their job. She had a specific “recommendation” (read: requirement). Kickbacks, anybody? We would have moved him, but by that point his doctor refused to let us because we was bedbound and his bones were far too compromised for another move, and it would have been horrific. My dad absolutely hated the staff, but I take that with a grain of salt, to be fair. His mind was already mostly gone. My mom told me, after she was diagnosed with cancer, that we were never to place her there. My sisters and I wholeheartedly agree, as none of us were impressed. When she gets to the point where she can’t care for herself, we will pool our resources to put her in a real facility, supervised by actual nurses who are licensed.
