Sunrise of Highland Park

Sunrise senior living has been called home for both my father and mother-in-law at different times. Both of them were happy with the staff, food and surroundings. Most of all I always felt that they were safe and cared for. Its smaller size makes it very personable and the entire staff is familiar with all the residents and they continually work to met their needs. Any problems were immediately addressed. I highly recommend Sunrise as “home” for your loved ones.

My mom has been at Sunrise for two years and ten months, starting in an independent apartment and moving to memory care over time. The place is sparkling clean, food is solid and the amenities laudable. The thing that sets Sunrise apart form other facilities is the stellar quality of the staff - caring, endlessly patient and wonderful to her and to me. I don't know how they maintain it but am so grateful that they do. Head and shoulders above every other place in a 20 mile radius and I personally visited them all.

With limited research into nearby assisted-living options, and while under pressure due to the immediacy of our need, we chose Sunrise of Highland Park as a residence for an elderly family member. Her move was from out-of-state and our loved-one had lived alone, and independently, for many years. We were concerned with how she would adapt to assisted-living, as well as with the quality of care and respect she would receive from the Sunrise staff. A large part of our Sunrise HP decision was based on our interaction with their Sales Director, Ms. Ito, who was responsible for helping us understand the many details of Sunrise living, their staff, the residency contract, logistics of the move-in during Covid, etc. Ms. Ito was exceptionally helpful and easy to work with. Now, after quite a few months of residency there, our loved-one has transitioned very well to her new home and she (and we) are very happy with the quality of care, food and respect she receives. Based on all that we’ve heard and seen at Sunrise, Sunrise has an impressive group of people both managing the facility and providing for the day-to-day well-being of its residents.

This place is home away from home,if you thinking of taking your loved parents for any senior care , don't hesitate to take them to Sunrise of Highland Park. I had a nice experience with everyone, the caregiving staff are all kind and will give you that warm experience. And you will find the most down to earth Executive Director and the front desk staff are out of this world, the caregivers, the kitchen staff and just everyone. Sunrise of Highland Place was a wonderful place for my Mother. The staff was so caring. They made my mother comfortable and therefore put me at ease. They took excellent care of her and met her needs. The staff was always so cheerful. I highly recommend Sunrise.
